  • Marketing Operations Management:

  • Vendor & Supplier Management:
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers including PR agencies, media buyers, designers, printers, and digital partners.
  • Develop creative briefs, review and approve deliverables, and ensure quality and timeline standards are met.
  • Consolidate feedback and compile vendor and campaign reports for internal teams.
  • Content Development & Collateral Management:
  • Write and edit content for brochures, product sheets, press releases, web copy, and video scripts.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and the design team to ensure all collateral accurately reflects the brand and offerings.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all content and communication channels.
  • Digital Marketing & Advertising:
  • Lead the setup and management of the organisation’s digital advertising presence (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, paid social).
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content and campaign calendar aligned with business priorities.
  • Oversee execution by ensuring creative assets and copy are approved, handed off to vendors, and launched on time.
  • Track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance using data-driven insights.
  • Public Relations & Media Outreach:
  • Support PR initiatives by developing media materials, coordinating announcements, and engaging with relevant industry publications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with editors, journalists, and key media contacts to enhance brand visibility.
  • Cross-Functional & Internal Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to gather input, align messaging, and deliver marketing initiatives that support business needs.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed of marketing progress, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ad Hoc Projects & Support:
  • Provide flexible support for marketing-related tasks that arise throughout the year.
  • Assist the Group Marketing Manager during high-volume periods or on special projects.
  • Support sub-brands or internal initiatives such as Power Bee, Airshow planning, or internal communications as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR on internal marketing and communication efforts when required.


Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • (Engineering product marketers or engineers transitioning into marketing are encouraged to apply.)
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing execution.
  • Prior experience in the engineering, industrial, or critical power sectors is essential -basic understanding of power systems is required.
  • Proven ability to manage marketing operations, events, content, and vendor relationships from end to end.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent copywriting and briefing skills — capable of translating technical concepts into compelling content.
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A hands-on, collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with evolving systems.
  • Must have a car and hold a valid driver’s license and passport, and be willing to travel occasionally on short notice

Remuneration:

About the role

Strategic Planning

  • In order that the overall company and strategic brand objectives are achieved, delivers, and executes strategic long, medium- and short-term plans for brands by:

  • Initiating and coordinating progress on all projects
  • Facilitating implementation with other functions within the organisation as well as with aligned agencies.

  • To determine potential impact on plans as well as identify future opportunities, monitor, analyse and evaluate marketplace developments relating to:

  • Sales and supply chain performance
  • Consumer, Expert and Customer behaviour

  • Adapts/replans to accommodate deviations / changes in market conditions by devising and implementing new action plans, to ensure the brands, retain their competitive advantage.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business
  • 10 years experience in a similar environment relating to Pharma/FMCG
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing brand strategies that will deliver long term strategic and profit objectives as well as grow and nurture strong brands.
  • Liaises closely with BU/category role players within Haleon regarding best practices, global strategies, R&D etc.
  • Work closely with Marketing Director and takes responsibility for the development and implementation of all marketing-related aspects of the ABP for the category.

  • Understands and abides by Haleon policies and procedures, conducts Management Monitoring

SUMMARY :

As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for all marketing activities to lead and implement marketing strategies for our laundry and garment rental business.

As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for all marketing activities to lead and implement marketing strategies for our laundry and garment rental business. The ideal candidate will develop brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives.

Key deliverables

Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies

  • Develop and monitor the group’s Marketing strategy Develop plans and manage campaigns across digital (social media, SEO / SEM, email) and traditional platforms (print, radio, outdoor).
  • Conduct quarterly market research to identify new opportunities, customer segments, and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain the company’s brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Manage the design and production of promotional materials, including brochures, signage, uniforms, and branded content.
  • Oversee and manage digital presence, including website updates, Google Ads, and social media content calendars.
  • Develop customer retention strategies, such as loyalty programs, satisfaction surveys, and referral incentives.
  • Track and report on marketing KPIs, campaign ROI, and lead conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Attend trade shows, expos, and relevant networking events to promote the business

Brand positioning

  • Develop and articulate a clear brand positioning that distinguishes us in the laundry and garment rental market.
  • Develop and monitor a brand narrative and value proposition for B2B and B2C segments.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking to identify market gaps and differentiation opportunities.
  • Oversee all brand messaging, including advertising, social media, PR, and internal communications.
  • Manage consistency in brand tone, visuals, and language across all platforms and customer touchpoints.
  • Develop taglines, slogans, and marketing themes aligned with brand positioning.
  • Market Researc & Customer Insights

  • Analyze market and customer data to inform business strategy, product development, marketing efforts, and customer experience improvements.
  • Develop and lead customer segmentation and gather insights on customer perceptions, expectations, and service.
  • Use market research to evaluate brand performance and adjust positioning strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with designers and agencies on visual identity, packaging, uniforms, and promotional materials.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and client service teams to embed brand values into the customer journey.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on brand standards and communication.
  • Sales Enablement and Lead Generation

  • Support B2B and B2C lead generation through paid ads, SEO, email, and partnerships.
  • Build and manage CRM segments for targeted communications and remarketing.
  • Develop marketing collateral for sales teams (brochures, presentations, case studies).
  • Key requirements

  • Tertiary qualification on NQF level #5 or higher in a production / service-related field
  • 2 years’ management experience in a manufacturing / service-related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to work under stress and resolve conflict.
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, clearly and accurately in English.
  • Proficient computer literacy on MS Office related packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) and Company related software systems.
