  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cost control measures to improve financial performance.
  • Drive financial analysis and cost-saving initiatives, ensuring long-term commercial success.
Stakeholder & People Leadership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including key customers, suppliers, regulators and industry associations.
  • Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, development, and innovation.
  • Drive talent management, succession planning, and leadership development within the Feed Division.
Risk & Compliance Management
  • Ensure bio-security protocols are strictly followed to mitigate disease risks and maintain industry standards.
  • Implement robust internal control systems to minimize operational risks.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with environmental laws, and agricultural policies.
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
  • Provide visionary leadership for the Feed Division, ensuring alignment with Astral Foods' long-term strategic plan and overall vision.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all feed mills.
  • Oversee competitive positioning, pricing strategies, and market share growth.
Innovation & Sustainability
  • Champion R&D in feed formulation, animal nutrition, and alternative feed ingredients.
  • Drive sustainable initiatives, including resource efficiency, waste reduction and responsible sourcing.

We’re looking for a Managing Executive to take the reins of a Contract Cleaning & Facility Solutions division — a dynamic business unit at the forefront of operational excellence, innovation, and client service.

This is your chance to own the strategy, stabilise and grow the business, and lead a powerhouse team delivering world-class cleaning and facilities solutions to some of the most exciting clients in the market.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead with Vision – Develop and execute a BU strategy aligned with Group growth ambitions.
  • Drive Operational Excellence – Oversee delivery across national operations, improving processes, systems, and efficiencies.
  • Own the Numbers – Take full P&L accountability, drive profitability, and present budgets and business cases at Exco level.
  • Strengthen Client Partnerships – Champion customer retention, improve SLAs, and ensure delivery excellence across all client touchpoints.
  • Inspire Your Team – Mentor senior leaders (Ops Lead, CRMs, Efficiency Manager), provide structure, and build a culture of innovation, accountability, and service.
  • Innovate for the Future – Leverage systems (Salesforce, PRP, IDU) and introduce smarter tools to enhance client experience and operational performance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Executive experience: 10+ years in senior management within contract cleaning, facilities management, or a related service industry.
  • Proven track record: Leading large-scale, distributed operations (7,000+ staff) with direct P&L responsibility.
  • Strategic mindset: Skilled in developing and executing growth strategies, change management, and efficiency programmes.
  • Client focus: Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with a history of improving retention.
  • People leadership: Ability to stabilise and mentor teams, bringing structure and calm leadership in complex operational environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field (MBA highly advantageous).
