DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Draft, format, and review legal documents including contracts, lease agreements, NDAs, service level agreements, and correspondence.
- Interpret and summarize legal documentation and provide clear, concise support to management.
- Manage executive schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations as required by senior management.
- Liaise with internal departments, clients, attorneys, and external stakeholders to facilitate the flow of legal documentation and administrative tasks.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for legal and corporate documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Track deadlines and renewal dates for leases, contracts, and legal obligations.
- Provide administrative support such as travel arrangements, expense reporting, and document management for senior executives.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory filings when necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, Executive Assistant, or similar role within a legal or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and legal procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and draft legal agreements, especially commercial contracts and lease agreements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with legal management software is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- LLB Preferred.
