Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Manager will join our local South Africa People team and work within our international talent acquisition team, report directly to the local People lead you will also have a dotted line to our Global Head of Talent Acquisition. You will own local hiring in South Africa and support international hiring demand when required. You will be a data driven, innovative and passionate recruiter, who wants to continuously raise the bar for how we deliver best in class recruitment practices.
What will this role look like on a day-to-day basis?
- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes for diverse roles across Sales, Tech, Product, and Corporate functions, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Design and implement market and function talent acquisition strategies to meet organizational hiring goals and improve efficiency and quality.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, providing data driven, market specific insights and collaborating on hiring strategies.
- Analyse recruitment metrics and market trends to optimise talent acquisition processes and inform strategies and decision-making.
- Leverage AI and other cutting-edge technologies to enhance, sourcing, attraction, assessment, and overall recruitment strategies. Championing our referral scheme to ensure all managers promote their vacancies on social media platforms.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-country and high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of successfully hiring for a diverse range of roles, including Sales, Tech, Product, and Corporate positions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to improve recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate with a global team across different countries.
- Demonstrated experience in utilising AI and other innovative technologies to enhance recruitment strategies and processes.

Recruitment Administration & Co-ordination :
- Interview Scheduling : Efficiently coordinate and schedule interviews (virtual and in-person) between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels, managing calendars and sending confirmations.
- Candidate Communication : Manage all routine candidate communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle, providing timely updates, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a professional and positive experience.
- Job Posting : Prepare, format, and post compelling job advertisements on various online platforms, job boards, internal career sites, and social media, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy.
- Application Management : Monitor incoming applications, ensuring they are accurately categorized and routed within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Offer Letter Support : Assist with the preparation of offer letters, employment contracts, and new hire documentation, coordinating with the HR Operations team for seamless onboarding handovers.
- Background Checks & References : Initiate and track background checks, qualification verifications, and professional reference checks as required, ensuring timely completion.
- Data Entry & Integrity : Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., POPIA).
- Reporting Support : Assist in generating basic reports from the ATS on recruitment metrics such as candidate pipeline status, source of hire, and time-to-hire.
- System Optimisation : Support the TA team in leveraging ATS functionalities to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
General Administrative Support :
- Documentation Management : Organise and maintain recruitment-related files and documentation, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance.
- Vendor Coordination Support : Assist with administrative tasks related to vendor relationships, such as submitting invoices or tracking service agreements for recruitment platforms and job boards.
- Ad-hoc Support : Provide general administrative support to the TA & Talent Branding Lead and the wider Talent Acquisition team as needed.
Compliance & Data Privacy :
- Ensure all recruitment administration activities comply with company policies and relevant South African labour laws and data privacy regulations (e.g., POPIA).
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all candidate and company information.
Key Interfaces :
- Internal : TA & Talent Branding Lead, Talent Acquisition Specialists, HR Business Partners, HR Operations Team, Hiring Managers, Candidates.

Qualifications :
- National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience :

- Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with basic recruitment processes is an advantage.

The Human Capital team based in Bryanston is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who has experience working within the Corporate environment to drive the recruitment and retention processes for the business.
Specifically, we are looking for a recruitment consultant who has been part of an HR team in a corporate environment (not an agency environment). A completed HR Diploma is preferred.
You will need to be a strong and experienced HR consultant, as this is a very fast-paced environment in which you will be recruiting candidates for multiple divisions and managers. You will also need to be proactive in finding and implementing methods to attract skilled talent for the organization.
PLEASE NOTE: This position will be office-based.
Requirements:- Grade 12 (matric certificate required)
- HR Degree/Diploma – non-negotiable (tertiary certificate required)
- Minimum 5 years Human Capital experience in a Corporate environment
- Willing to travel locally
- Car essential – required to meet with management across the business
- Regularly consult with management to ensure requirements are being met
- Build relationships with managers across the business
- Discuss suitability of candidates with line managers after interviews
- Regularly consult with recruitment partners to ensure that they are aware of all requirements and needs
- Build relationships with recruitment partners
- Develop Interview methodology in consultation with line management
- Create and maintain a centralized library of job profiles and competency-based interview guides (must meet legislative criteria)
- Manage the database for recruitment and keep an updated CV status record
- Facilitate the process of external assessments & technical assessments
- Screen all internal and external applications, ensuring that the job profile is adhered to
- Schedule interviews and serve as the HC representative in all initial interviews and where required
- Ensure feedback is given to candidates regarding the outcome of the interviews as per the Recruitment Process
- Adhere to the Recruitment Process for the different business areas
- Conduct reference checks on all potential employees
- Ensure management aligns with the organization’s employment equity targets
- Maintain recruitment website and database of job seekers categorized by skill and keep Dashboard updated
- Arrange and conduct interviews for staff in line for promotion and manage the process
- Manage the Exit Interview process
- Ensure data integrity of all HC information
- Preparation of various recruitment reports
