Provides and acts on technical and support information related to the elements of laboratory testing for all age groups, neonatal through geriatric patients.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
- Associates degree in medical technology or related sciences with state licensure if required or appropriate national certification
- Must hold a certification from one of the following: Medical Laboratory Scientist (American Society for Clinical Pathology), Medical Technologist (ASCP), Medical Technologist (AMT), or Clinical Laboratory Supervisor through AMT.

Together with either of these credentials, also demonstrates completion of two or more years of on-the-job training and work experience in medical dosimetry under the supervision of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Medical Physicist.

- Possesses an Associate of Science, Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Science degree in a field other than physical or biological science. Together with this degree, also demonstrates completion of on-the-job training in medical dosimetry under the supervision of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Medical Physicist and has a subsequent minimum of 4 years of supervised work experience in medical dosimetry.
- Complies with existing national and state laws and institutional policies related to qualifications required to practice medical dosimetry in Colorado.
- Must be able to understand the technical aspects of radiation oncology and medical physics to derive computerized treatment plans and communicate these aspects to the Radiation Oncologist for plan revision and approval and to the Radiation Therapist for plan implementation.

- Assist with internal audits and review of management system implementation and report on compliance.
- Monitor construction activities to minimise environmental impact and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Assist with monitoring, reviewing & reporting on the progression and recommendations of all WHS and Environmental incidents, potential hazards and corrective actions;
