(Junior Level)
Location: Kempton Park
A full-time Administrative Assistant (junior level) position is available at our firm's Kempton Park offices.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist the staff in legal and administrative matters, as well as work independently when required. The role involves day-to-day administrative tasks, managing files, preparing documents, answering calls, managing diaries, data capturing, and liaising with clients and service providers. The candidate will also be expected to liaise with debtors and creditors, assist in day-to-day financial administrative tasks, and manage postal duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating diaries, appointments, and meetings.
- Handling email communications, including drafting, responding, and organising correspondence.
- Drafting legal documents, and opinions accurately and efficiently, under senior staff oversight.
- Keeping track of critical deadlines and ensuring timely submissions of legal filings.
- Maintaining and organising digital and physical files related to all matters.
- Liaising with clients, service provider, and IP offices, and other stakeholders professionally.
- Liaising with debtors and creditors.
- Assisting with day-to-day financial administrative tasks.
- Managing postal duties.

- Able to follow instructions accurately.*
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools.

- Senior certificate and computer literacy.
- Own transport (residence in or near Kempton Park preferred).
- Familiarity with docketing systems and legal filing processes is advantageous.
- Prior legal or intellectual property experience is advantageous, but not essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receiving and Registration of submitted samples
- Compare information on sample with information on register or other documentation.

- Prepare relevant documents as per required test/s.
- Place samples in relevant containers as per required test/s.
Document Preparation for OIC's
- Complete OIC application and return to applicant
- Register OIC seed lots on register and complete relevant documentation.
- Receive OIC-samples on register and place in relevant containers as per required test/s.
Calculation and Reporting of Results
- Calculate all germination results as per ISTA and apply tolerances.
- Enter all results on register.
Issuing of Laboratory Reports and OIC's
- Laboratory reports:
Prepare laboratory reports on request.
Inform customer when laboratory report is ready for collection
- OIC's:
Confirm correct rounding (Seed calc)
Prepare preliminary OIC for confirmation purposes
Inform customer when OIC's are ready for collection
Record Keeping
- Maintaining all germination, purity, seed count and moisture records.
- Maintaining laboratory register.
- Maintaining equipment register and files.
Storeroom maintenance
- Maintaining and monitoring of incoming and outgoing stock.
General
- Respond to queries from Head Office, Packing, Production, Export, Marketing, Quality, Assurance Manager.
- Perform any reasonable task allocated by superiors to ensure the effective functioning of the seed-testing laboratory.
- Act responsibly and professionally at all times, fostering goodwill and a positive image of the Company.

RCL FOODS seeks a Data Capture Clerk to join Siqalo Foods Division. The role will be based in Boksburg and report to the Production Shift Manager.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that the automated system of back flushing of the finished goods is done accurately through quality checks and SU's label. Ensure that you use the manual scanning as a back-up system.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesTracks Plan Vs Actual and feedback to Shift Production Mangers (S/L and OR)
SRV's for all packaging material at the end of every production run – drive physical movement and ensure system transfer is done.
Create Stock to balance SRV's
Adhoc tracking and tracing of product
Co-ordinate and conduct stock count with Shift Production Manager
Create M1 and M4 tags for respective shift
Cycle count Packaging Material
End of shift waste Figure recording
Checking and correcting S/LOC – PM and FG
Co-ordinating re-work of problem stock – ensuring quality quarantine area is kept tidy and all SRV's are done
Adjusting orders as per COGI
PM and FG – Write on's and Write off's
Generate Pull List requirements for all materials for respective shift
Ensure stock form End of Run cupboards is rotated.
Consolidating WCM- Morale documentation for shift and handing over to WCM Department – 5Y's , OPL , CI's , EWO , etc.
Remove all non-conforming materials must be removed from hall in the wall conveyer.
Daily recording of the PAMCO sheet
Be able to change SU's labeller reel and ribbons
Capture production final goods on SmartTech
Minimum RequirementsMatric/ Grade 12
Valid Forklift Driver License
+2 years experience in a manufacturing industry
+2 years experience working on Shopware
Proficient on Microsoft Office and SAP
Good communication Skills
Strong problem solving skills
Knowdegeable with SmartTech system
