Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert taxation services to clients, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations.
- Perform manual bookkeeping, including debits and credits.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive annual financial statements.
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
- Utilize Xero for bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional services firm providing taxation services.
- Strong knowledge of manual bookkeeping, including debits and credits.
- Proven ability to prepare annual financial statements.
- Expertise in preparing income tax returns.
- Proficiency in Xero is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

We are seeking a technically strong and highly reliable Senior Accounting & Tax Specialist with proven experience in both accounting and U.S. tax to support our clients U.S. team remotely. This role is ideal for someone with a blend of U.S. tax preparation expertise and practical accounting knowledge. You will be expected to handle complex tax filings, review and reconcile accounting data, and deliver consistent, high-quality work with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare U.S. tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, and LLCs.
- Review and reconcile accounting data from QuickBooks Online and other accounting sources.

- Assist with cross-border compliance such as Form 5471, FBAR, and PFIC reporting (training/support provided if needed).

- Ability to prepare tax returns independently and meet U.S. tax season deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail, consistency, and follow-through.
