Basic Duties:

- 10+ years of financialexperience ,with a proven track record in senior finance roles, preferably in the renewableenergy, energy, or infrastructure sectors .
- Strong understanding offinancial modeling, risk management, and corporate finance.
- Knowledge of SouthAfrican financial regulations and tax laws.
- Proven leadership skillsand the ability to drive change and influence at the executive level.
- Exceptionalcommunication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency infinancial software and advanced MS Excel skills.

About the role
The Chief Financial Officer will lead Reflex’s financial strategy, operations, and governance, ensuring the organisation’s stability and growth. Key duties and responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the MD’s to develop and execute the company’s overall business strategy, both financial and operational.
- Drive the company’s financial planning in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee and manage capital investments (Capex) and significant overhead expenditure.
- Lead corporate governance initiatives, ensuring compliance and ethical operations.
- Provide guidance on investment strategies with consideration for cash and liquidity risks.
- Perform comprehensive risk management by analysing liabilities and investments.
- Maintain appropriate cash flow to support operational requirements.
- Evaluate and integrate investment opportunities into the business.
- Develop growth plans to increase profitability while reducing expenditure.
Operational Management
- Oversee the following business functions:
- Finance: Finance & Reporting, Costing, Debtors, Creditors, Treasury, Tax
- Stock Procurement & Warehousing – Local (Supply Chain)
- Stock Procurement – Importing

- Legal
- Implement and monitor controls for all above functions.
- Enhance governance and controls to accommodate the shift from owner management to a structured delegation of authority framework.

Financial Reporting

Education, Experience and Skills:
