Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience in cloud architecture, designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience in developing scalable, high-performance data ingestion and engineering pipelines, performing complex data transformations across large datasets using Apache Spark API and SparkSQL to implement data lake architectures
• Strong programming skills in both Python and Scala
• 5+ years of experience with direct customer (internal or external) interaction with responsibilities in Data and Analytics solutions design, architecture and implementation (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lake House, Data Mesh, Data as a Product and Data Governance including Data quality and controls, etc.).
• Ability to think strategically about business, solutions and technical challenges.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years Technical experience preferred, knowledge of Data Technology stack of AWS and integration with Machine Learning and Generative AI
• Industry experience with key vertical markets such as Financial Sector, Telecom, Mining and Retail.
• AWS Experience and Certifications, including implementation of cloud-based Data and Analytics solutions.
• Ability to understand and educate customers on cloud computing technologies and workload transition challenges.
• Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred
• Deep understanding of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Cloud Infrastructure Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You'll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, you will be responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route53 & s3)
- Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
- Demonstrated experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or current hands on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies as well as Integration of cloud services with on premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.
- Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.), Scripting and/or coding experience as well as ability to travel to client locations when needed.

- 5+ years of IT implementation experience

Job Overview

Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking

To lead a BS&R team for a BCB Segment, ensuring the delivery of robust end-to-end Business Solutions and Recoveries (BS&R) services for distressed credit (watchlist and NPL items) management within a dedicated segment. To provide specialist advice in the restructuring of distressed exposures, and the recovery of defaulted exposures in terms of the BS&R mandate and in the context of a dedicated portfolio matters, while also supporting other BS&R team members as and when required.
