We are hiring a FP&A Analyst for a private equity company in the software industry. This is a full-time remote role for a US-based company. This role is ideal for someone who has strong financial modeling skills, enjoys working across multiple entities, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with significant exposure to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model Support & Maintenance : Maintain and update Beacon’s consolidated operating model, ensuring consistent representation of portfolio companies; support revenue structuring and department-level detail collection.
- Budgeting & Performance Reporting : Assist in preparing monthly budget vs. actuals reports, update models with actuals, and build dashboards and presentation materials for leadership and board reviews.
- FP&A Tooling & Process Automation : Support implementation of Beacon’s FP&A platform, integrate data feeds from accounting and HR systems, and improve forecasting and data validation processes.
- Strategic Finance Support : Contribute to scenario modeling, margin analysis, and tracking financial KPIs and unit economics.
- KPI Tracking : Help maintain dashboards and recurring KPI packages; collect and validate financial data from systems such as QuickBooks, CRM tools, and spreadsheets.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance (internship experience acceptable).
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
- Familiarity with financial concepts and SaaS metrics (ARR, gross margin, churn).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience owning a financial model or budget process across a portfolio or business unit.
- Experience with FP&A software implementation.
- Comfort balancing strategic finance with operational detail.
- Operates with urgency, intellectual curiosity, and a low-ego, collaborative approach.
Required Skills & Tools:
- Excel/Google Sheets (advanced proficiency)
- QuickBooks or other accounting software
- CRM tools (basic familiarity)
- FP&A software (e.g., Abacum, Runway, Drivetrain – willingness to learn)
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time position; U.S. hours in the EST or PST time zone.
- This is a fully remote job for a U.S.-based company.
- SA - R14 000 – R27 000 per month , depending on experience and skills.
- Annual raises, performance bonuses, holidays, and PTO offered.

- Internet speed of at least 20 Mbps upload and download.
- Computer with a 2.4 GHz processor or higher
- 8 GB of RAM or higher
- Windows 10 or newer, or Mac OS X 10.10 or newer
