Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Production Supervisor to lead and oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will ensure production targets are met efficiently, safely, and within quality standards while managing a team and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and control daily manufacturing and workflow activities
Ensure on-time, cost-effective production aligned with quality benchmarks
Supervise and lead production teams to maximise productivity
Monitor production schedules, output, and make necessary adjustments
Enforce health, safety, and compliance protocols on the production floor
Collaborate with departments including procurement, design, and logistics
Identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvements
Ensure regular maintenance and safe operation of all machinery
Prepare and present reports on production performance and KPIs to management
Requirements:
Minimum Qualification: Matric (Grade 12)
Post-matric qualification in Production Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering will be advantageous

Strong leadership and people management skills
Technical knowledge of steel/sheet metal production processes and machinery
