- Monday – Friday | 08:00 - 17:00
- Saturday (alternate on/off) | 08:00am - 15:00
- Sundays & Major Public Holidays - CLOSED
REPORT TO: Owner
EMPLOYMENT TERMS : Full Time
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R7,500 Basic per month
- 10% Service Commission upon generating 3x Basic (R22,500)
- 10% Retail Commission
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- South African citizen
- Confident in English & Afrikaans (read, write and speak)
- Minimum 1-year Diploma in Beauty Therapy (Beauty Specialist / Beauty Therapy / Cosmetology etc.)
- ITEC / SAAHSP
- Have reliable transport and must reside in Darling
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 5 years in salon or spa
- Admin / social media skills (updating Facebook)
- Confident performing all standard SKIN CARE & BEAUTY SERVICES including
- Facials & Skin Care (Peels included)
- Waxing & Hair Removal (Face & Body)
- Standard Grooming services (Tinting & Shaping)
SOFT SKILLS:
- Self-motivated
- Driven & eager to advance yourself
- Team-player but also able to work independently
- Engaging - we have clients of young and old who should be treated with equal professionalism
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
- Perform all standard beauty services
- Monthly stock control & inventory
- Liaise with reps & social media manager
- Continuously develop your skill set with monthly refresher
- Attend any workshops arranged by product house / company
- Assist in other departments of the salon where operationally required (reception, admin, social media, hair salon, etc)
