Key Objectives:
- Coordinate and supervise technical and workshop staff to ensure that the workshop facilities are always organised, tidy and in full working order, ensuring workshop equipment is well maintained and accounted for. The workshop is not only for internal use but showcases the Division's Service Dept. to internal and external customers.
- Oversee quotations and reports on time to customers, to ensure relevance and meet customer service level agreements.
- Produce reports of a high standard in language that is understandable to the layman. This provides a real value-add to the customer and sets us apart from the rest.
- Make sure repair turn-around times are met, by coordinating and managing the movement of people/equipment/materials.
- Keep systems in place which allow anyone else in the Division easy access to all relevant documentation and information to achieve true seamless service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, even in your absence.
- Technician Monthly/Daily check list to be monitored and inspections to be done accordingly.
- Escalate where necessary, any customer satisfaction issues that need special attention.
- Maintain a safe working environment within the workshop and promote the company safety standards listed below.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in people leadership and management
- National Certificate NQF Level 4 / Grade 12
- Policy and procedure knowledge
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office
