Introduction

The Corporate Health Consultant will manage and grow relationships between the Scheme and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction. This role is responsible for providing expert advice and support to brokers and corporate clients, driving sales, and ensuring client satisfaction within the designated industry/sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

Role Overview

Areas of Responsibility

  1. Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and corporate clients
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers and corporate paypoints
    • Conduct regular reviews with brokers to assess needs, address issues, and explore opportunities for growth
    • Provide expert advice and support on medical aid options
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address any issues promptly
  2. Sales and Business Development:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve set targets
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated portfolio
    • Work closely with brokers to drive new business growth and retention
  3. Client Service and Support:
    • Address and resolve complaints and escalations efficiently
    • Assist brokers and paypoints with product queries, application processes, and problem resolution
    • Ensure timely and effective communication with all stakeholders
  4. Training and Development:
    • Conduct broker training sessions and product presentations
    • Keep clients informed about new products, industry trends, and regulatory changes
  5. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Establish KPIs for individual performance and monitor progress
    • Provide regular performance reports to the Corporate Health Manager
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategies
    • Provide feedback to management on market conditions, client needs, and product performance

Qualifications

  • Matric
  • 2-3 years private healthcare industry experience
  • Experience with brokers and/or clients in corporate industry
  • Proven sales experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Must meet the "Fit and Proper" criteria as set out by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA)
  • NQF Wealth Management (NQF5) qualification or equivalent essential
  • RE5 Regulatory Examination is preferred

Position Summary :

The EHS Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the environmental health and safety programs of projects. This role ensures compliance with all relevant environmental and occupational health and safety legislation, customer, and organisational requirements. The EHS Officer will conduct risk assessments, enforce preventative measures, lead EHS awareness sessions, and investigate workplace incidents.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications and Experience :

Matric certificate

At least five (5) years’ experience in construction health & safety

Computer literacy essential, including the use of MS 365, MS Word, and MS Excel

Key Performance Areas

Delivery of HR Operational Services

  • Understand and implement the people strategy to support business operations
  • Partners with management to understand performance, productivity and other people challenges; be able to diagnose the issue and provide solutions to improve people practices across the business
  • Facilitate all recruitment, selection and assessment processes; including advertising, interviewing, reference checking, vetting; appointments

  • Monitor compliance of HR Practices in line with labour legislation; BBBEE targets, Gaming Board regulations and policies of Sun International; 
  • Escalate areas of concern to HR Management in order address and resolve.

HR Project Implementation

  • Understand the objectives, measures, benefits and deadline requirements for the completion of HR projects
  • Co-ordinate and implement HR projects and deliver work as defined in the project plan and deadlines
  • Co-ordinate activities for operational areas and communicate on relevant activities with stakeholders in the business operations
  • Provide feedback to HR Management on any challenges, obstacles, successes to implementation
  • Monitor delivery and prepare reports on the progress on the implementation plan for areas of responsibility
  • Update electronic files to ensure that all information is appropriately documented

Education

  • B. Degree in Human Resources Management

  • Assist with implementation of procedures for E-Marketing, Internet advertising and Website maintenance and marketing, plus all other associated forms of sales and marketing - for HR /IR products.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Accurate administration, filing, management and updating of all branch documentation.
  • Vet all new and existing employee contracts ensuring contracts have been correctly allocated to client contract period and or reason/project/seasonal.
  • Thorough administration and communication of end of contracts.
  • Administrate Client contracts, SOP’s, and SLA agreements.
  • Ensure all client contractual requirements are adhered to.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • HR/Business studies related degree or diploma.
  • Additional studies and certifications.
  • Experience within the TES or HR Services Labour market beneficial.
  • Driver’s License and must have own car.
  • Competent in MS office (strong excel).
  • Efficient user of web-based tools and career portals.
  • High level of accountability.
