Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct periodic reviews of existing systems and applications for effectiveness and efficiency in meeting business needs, development of strategies for improvement.
  • Scope development requests and requirements from business, evaluate through feasibility study for adoption decision making.

    • Driving Data Quality initiatives (3rd party enrichment, mandatory fields, procedures, OCR existing documents, standardization, identification of missing fields and corrective plans).
    • Building Data warehouse & marts, PowerBI reporting.
  • Research and Implementation of Projects
    • Establish and ensure adherence to best practice guidelines of System Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) of all business applications.
    • Good project management skills, and able to follow Agile Development and Project management methodologies, defining, clearly communicating and following up milestones, to execute high significant organizational-wide application changes.
    • Implement standards of compliance and good practice, taking into account audit recommendations, as well as SOC2 compliance.
    • Factor in security, audit, and Disaster Recovery requirements in all projects.
    • Sound knowledge of IT systems (hardware, software, databases, networking, security), strategic thinking, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Be an integral part of digitising our client journeys through changes to websites and software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements in producing quality solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Key strategic manager responsible for planning, organising, monitoring and controlling all aspects of the SDLC.
  2. Manage new strategic development as well as maintenance of existing applications.
  3. Conduct weekly negotiations between business and project team to build consensus on the prioritization of requests.
  4. Act as the technical owner of a set of applications.
  5. Manage the relationship with business owners and ensure that business objectives are reflected in the technical processes which they manage.
  6. Ensure an appropriate supply of technical experts to fill available positions in the delivery portfolios.
  7. Manage a project or set of projects in a programme related to their technical application set.
  8. Ensure that the application remains adaptive to emerging client needs in its lifetime.
  9. Extend or design new operational processes.
  10. Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors in terms of commercial and service delivery.
  11. People management, including providing guidance and skill development and being accountable for performance metrics of all direct reports.
  12. Contribute towards IT and business strategy development.
  13. Drive continuous improvements to team practices and operational environments.
  14. Ensure that security forms an integral part of all technology capabilities.
  15. Manage all audits, risks & compliance requirements to ensure adherence to regulations.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  1. Agile or equivalent contemporary development methodology certification.
  2. ITIL or equivalent certification.
  3. Demonstrated experience in managing a scrum team.
