Senior Web Analytics Specialist
We are seeking a Senior Web Analytics Specialist to join our digital team and lead the configuration, optimization, and reporting of our web analytics systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in Google Analytics, SEO, data visualization tools, and strong analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions across departments. You will be instrumental in configuring analytics on both legacy and new web portals, providing insights that support strategic digital goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure Google Analytics for the Portal, including setup on legacy and new platforms.
- Review and validate the company's current web analytics requirements and business needs.
- Deliver comprehensive reports and project plans outlining estimated hours and tasks required for full analytics implementation.
- Set up and configure:
• Google Analytics dashboards and custom reports
• Monthly automated reporting for different departments
• Role-based access and hierarchy (Super Admin, Admin, Analyst)
• User logins for dashboard access
- Integrate website and social media data into Power BI via web connectors, exposing all available dimensions and metrics for analysis.
- Maintain and optimize Google Search Console to support SEO goals and search visibility.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for analytics issues across departments.
Minimum Qualifications :
- NQF Level 6 Diploma or higher in Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Web Development, Information Systems, or Systems Development.
Required Experience :
- 6 years experience in configuring and optimizing Google Analytics.
- 2 years experience configuring Google Search Console.
- 4 years experience in data visualization using tools such as Power BI, Google Analytics, and Google Data Studio.
- 2 years of strong hands-on experience in SEO optimization and analysis.
Proven examples of :
- SEO reports showcasing improvements in search engine rankings.
- Advanced Google Analytics reports highlighting website traffic performance.
