Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the provision of support and guidance on project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques to programme managers, project managers and their teams. What will make you successful in this role?

  • Provide administration support to Project Manager/s and Project teams which includes minute-taking, diary management, meeting scheduling & preparation
  • Execute on the PMO continuous improvement plan by compiling updates on project reports.
  • Optimal usage of PPO and other PMO Toolsets across all agreed functionalities and features. Incl. Updating issue, Risk & dependency logs.
  • Effective Stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycle.
  • Continuous collaboration with Towers and Clients
  • Adhere to Service Management procedures and protocol & to Project Management governance as agreed by Steerco or relevant Project Forum
  • Project budget & Financial management: Track project budget, Reports, Projections, Invoicing, query resolution
  • Ensure accurate Time Management of project resources.
  • Handle Hardware/Software/Stationery requests on the project.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant accredited courses (relevant diploma an advantage)

Experience:

  • At least 3 years job-related experience in formal project administration (IT software development projects beneficial)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of a project’s life cycle and project methodology
  • Strong administration skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Project tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word & MS Project, JIRA

Responsibilities

You will have deep experience in one or more technical areas – such as leading multi-disciplinary teams in winning and delivery of energy projects – and a proven track record of cultivating long-term client relationships, securing impactful work, positioning an energy business for strategic growth and delivering projects successfully. Build and maintain client relationships with IPPs, Mining Companies, public agencies, and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Responsible for cleaning up the site / workshop after task is completed or at the end of the day which comes first, where the job was carried out and make sure it's free off all consumables used to perform the job (masking tapes, tins, etc)
  • To adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system
  • To orally report any deviations, irregulateries and non-conformance's
  • Responsible to perform any other reasonable task assigned byt the authorized site supervisor/laboratory manager and regional manager
  • Perform all field and laboratory work including sampling, calculations and performing test methods accurately.
  • Ensure discipline within his/her assigned department

CompulsoryRequirements

  • Sampling and preparation experience (advantageous)
  • Fieldwork (densities, layer / stockpile sampling, manufacture and handle concrete cubes, DCP, Ring and Ball test (road surfaces), sand patch, on-site viscosity tests, sampling of Asphalt, seals, concrete / aggregate.
  • Do all calculations in full related to the tests mentioned above.
  • Control laboratory activities such as quality control under supervision
  • Physically fit and willing to work with, move and pick up samples aqs and when required.
Qualifications
  • Matric/ Diploma Civil Engineering Qualification
Additional Information

Be a South African citizen (be able to produce a valid South African ID document)

-Be between the ages of 18-30

-Must be currently unemployed

-Must have no criminal record

-Must be willing to relocate to Cape Town (Bellvile)

  • Exceptional Computer Literacy (use of MS Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • An affinity for data analysis
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in completing tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and high level of initiative
