What You Will Do:

  • Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assigned competitively-held accounts, to meet profit increase goals. Target sales and grow the business base.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant industry
  • Five years of technical sales or field sales support experience

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Five (5) years’ experience in process design/ analysis and modelling experience in municipal and/or industrial water treatment
  • Usage of other software:
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
    • MS Project or similar scheduling tool capability will be an advantage
  • Experience as a Project Manager in the client space (as the client’s representative or representing the consultant at the client) – PMP/ PrCPM or similar equivalent will be an advantage.

  • This role is office-based in Gauteng, with the project site in Mokopane.
  • This project will be guided by NEC form of contract.
  • The position is initially a 12-month fixed-term appointment.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be accountable for leading the project from appointment to close-out, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery that meets all quality and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Full life-cycle project management: design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and operations handover.
  • Developing project charters, scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
  • Leading and coordinating project teams, including Project Engineers, Site Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Contractual and commercial management within the NEC form of contract, including claims, variations, notifications, and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Managing stakeholder communication, employer/client relationships, and progress meetings.
  • Driving proactive planning, risk management, procurement scheduling, and cash flow control.
  • Leading commissioning, close-out documentation, final invoicing, and dispute resolution.

  • Proven track record delivering projects under NEC contract terms.
  • Knowledge of PMBOK methodologies and practical implementation of project management principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Projects, and project control software.
  • Thorough knowledge of Southern African regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:



  • Ensure that customer needs are meet by providing technical expertise to site manager, cleaning team, technical sales consultant, and customer.

  • Manage, resolve complaints, and advise internal/external stakeholders on corrective action.

  • Managing of the budget and ensuring that maintenance and cost are kept as low as possible, this includes asset management and driving of efficiencies and innovation.

  • To ensure that application of audit procedures conform to the clients quality standards

  • To determine the precision and accuracy in chemical verification

  • Managing of Health and Safety, this includes ensuring that service is carried out in full compliance with the health and safety together with the environmental requirements.

  • Compliance to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).  Ensure the safeguarding all personal information and password access to information on site in line with company POPI Compliance Policy.

  • Provide effective solutions to address site pain points from a maintenance perspective.

  • To provide routine maintenance for chemical dosing pumps and to keep the system functioning.

  • Provide onsite assistance and training to the chemical division.


Minimum Requirements:



  • Grade 12.

  • Technical Qualification / Certificate will be an advantage.

  • Chemical Engineering background will be advantageous.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced engineering Lead Engineer to join our Water Treatment team, based at our Tshwane or Cape Town offices.

Role Responsibilities

  • Business development in the water treatment space.
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating tenders/bids and contribute to winning work initiatives.
  • Contractual and commercial acumen and assist in the management of construction contracts.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects, within scope and budget.
  • Establish a clear understanding of the project goals and stakeholder expectations, specifically, managing client expectations and ensuring that delivery meets expectations.
  • Lead and coordinate small, medium, and integrated projects including management of delivery teams, and reporting on budgets and schedules, and maintaining team morale.
  • Perform highly complex engineering designs, calculations, and analysis of industrial water/wastewater treatment as well as in pharmaceutical, food and beverage industry, with key contributions in heat and mass balances, basis of designs, schedules, project estimates as well as 3D models, technical drawings and details.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment processes such as HAZOP, FMEA, HACCP, LOPA etc.
  • Produce other key deliverables on projects, such as technical reports, specifications, and bills of quantities.
  • Be a team player that is willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines and international geographies.
  • Design integration of teams and disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Establish initial project schedules and regularly maintain project schedules
  • Act as senior project-level point of contact for clients
  • Resolve project level issues independently
  • Motivate the project team towards the determined objectives, by generating enthusiasm for the project, and by maintaining continued personal interest in achieving set targets.
  • BSc /BEng/BTech degree in Civil/Chemical/MechanicalEngineering. A postgraduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline would be an advantage.
  • Professional Engineer (PrEng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (PrTechEng) with ECSA (minimum of 5 years post registration).
  • A minimum of 10 years’ engineering related experience which includes but is not limited to:
    • Water treatment experience with a very strong project management, contractual and commercial background
    • Five (5) years’ experience in design, construction and commissioning of industrial water related infrastructure
    • Five (5) years’ experience in process design/ analysis and modelling experience in municipal and/or industrial water treatment
  • Usage of other software:
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
    • MS Project or similar scheduling tool capability will be an advantage
  • Experience as a Project Manager in the client space (as the client’s representative or representing the consultant at the client) – PMP/ PrCPM or similar equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Willing to travel for projects (local and international).
