This Warehouse Assistant supports the daily operations of a small warehouse and contributes to the delivery, servicing and installations of modular flotation systems.

Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining inventory, preparing equipment for dispatch, assisting with installations and troubleshooting, and ensuring vehicle and equipment readiness.

The Warehouse Assistant will be required to travel and assist with installing our modular flotation solutions for customers using a company vehicle and trailer.

The position requires a practical, hands-on individual who can follow instructions, contribute as a team player, and work in a dynamic and physical demanding environment which consist of but not limited to preparing, packing, loading/offloading, installing, and assist with troubleshooting our systems.

Warehouse Operations Support
  • Assist with receiving, checking and storing of inventory and deliveries.
  • Prepare, check for accuracy and pack goods for dispatch and delivery.
  • Load and offload goods and materials for deliveries/collections and installations.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Supervisor.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and stock reconciliations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and general upkeep of the Warehouse, Workshop area and other related areas where necessary.
Installations and Field Support

Health and Safety

Experience and Qualifications

Due to the nature of the company the candidate must be able to swim, as structures are installed in water masses.
  • Grade 12 Diploma will be essential .

  • Previous experience in the warehouse, marine industry/environment and or technical installations work will be highly beneficial.
  • Comfortable working around and in water (any season of the year); must be a competent swimmer.
