Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Delivery
Architect UWB wireless protocols for on-field devices
Oversee embedded firmware (STM32, RTOS, sensors, power optimization)
Ensure scalability and performance across the software stack
Promote DevOps and CI/CD for embedded/cloud
Organizational Leadership
Scale the engineering team from Series A to Series B+
Mentor hardware, firmware, and systems engineers
Align engineering with company-wide strategy
Innovation & Architecture
Lead R&D on tracking and localization (UWB-based)
Define firmware and RF architecture
Ensure regulatory compliance and robustness
Ideal Candidate Profile
10+ years in embedded systems and wireless comms
Built and scaled proprietary wireless protocols
Expert in C/C++, STM32, and RTOS
Familiarity with radar/ranging/localization systems
Deep knowledge of OSI layers, performance optimization
Experience scaling teams in high-growth startups
Excellent communicator across disciplines
Passion for sports and real-time systems
Nice to Have
Background in high-volume hardware or wearables
