Position: Driver Company: General Heavy Marine (Pty)Ltd Location: Durban, Clairwood. We are looking for a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for transporting clients or handling deliveries in a timely manner. Drivers may also be responsible for obtaining signatures from recipients when delivering large or fragile packages. Duties And Responsibilities: (But not limited to)

  • Collection of parts from suppliers.
  • Deliveries to Suppliers/Customers.
  • Drop off and fetch staff and guests at Airport and guest houses.
  • Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most convenient trip.
  • Conduct shopping as required.
  • Sourcing of physical parts if needed.
  • Maintaining the vehicle.
  • Using navigation apps to determine the best route.
  • Conducting monthly vehicle inspections and reporting on damages and repairs.
  • Any other task requirements from management.
Requirements
  • High school certificate.
  • At least 1—2 years working experience in a similar field.
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Utilise the company’s “quote builder” to generate all quotations in your sales area.
  • Procure relationships with Fleet owners, corporate businesses, Insurance brokers, Underwriting managers, Vehicle dealerships, and Vehicle leasing branches, in line with company objectives.
  • Able to conduct satisfactory product presentations from Workshop level to Director level.
  • Successfully learn and teach the company’s sales features, benefits, and services offered to its customer base to the company’s satisfaction.
  • Become familiar with the companies and products classed as opposition, including product analysis against the company’s products.
  • Compile required reports in accordance with departmental company requirements.
  • Attend sales meetings as advised by the company.
  • Work with your assigned internal telesales department to assist with company documents to successfully execute sales.
  • Be responsible for your department's company assets, clothing, and equipment.
  • Fulfil the role of Sales and Key Account Consultant as required by the company, ensuring KAS visit schedules are emailed timeously to the CRC’s internal KAS (customer-facing) department.
