- Provide strategic growth and direction for the division.
- Effectively manage and review projects using the organization’s methodology and principles ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and against our quality standards.
- Act as a key accounts manager for designated clients through regular meetings, networking, and fulfilling a project sponsor role.
- Provide project reporting and analytics to relevant stakeholders on the division’s progress.
- Effective financial management of the division’s operations, this includes budgeting, forecasting, analysis etc.
- Effective people management this includes, development, recruitment, coaching and mentoring, succession planning and performance management.
- Ensure implementation, effectiveness and relevance of quality management system for the division.
- Grow our market share through upselling and cross selling the organization’s services to new and existing clients.
- Build and maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure implementation, effectiveness and relevance of quality management system for the division.
- Management of workload schedules for the division thereby ensuring effective workforce planning can be undertaken.
- Research new technological and legal developments and trends and communicate this to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the development, growth and technical output of the groundwater, modelling, geophysics, geochemistry, and surface water units.
- Provide specialist studies that integrate into the EIA process as well as standalone specialist products.

Qualifications
- A Post Graduate degree in Hydrogeology/ Water Science/ Hydrology or similar.
- Management Development Programme (MDP) or similar qualification (beneficial).
- Project Management Certificate (beneficial).
- Registered with a professional body such as SACNASP.
Work Experience
- 10 years or more in the relevant field, preferably within consulting would be beneficial.
- At least 10 years conducting specialist investigations.
- At least five years exposure to the mining industry.
- Five or more years’ management experience, as well as experience leading teams of 5+ staff. Experience managing managers would be beneficial.

We're currently looking for a **Services Senior Sales Representative** to join our **Power Distribution** team specializing in **Low voltage/Medium voltage** , driving strategic growth and customer engagement across the region. Based in Johannesburg, this role will lead key accounts through the full sales cycle, collaborate cross-functionally, and champion service innovation to position Eaton as a trusted partner in the energy distribution market.
**What you'll do:**
+ **Drive Business Development & Strategic Growth** : Lead key customers through the full sales cycle, ensuring forecast accuracy and achieving strategic goals; Develop and execute business plans to expand service offerings and the Power Distribution portfolio in the assigned cluster/country.
+ **Manage and Grow Sales Pipeline** : Oversee a robust pipeline of new and existing accounts, ensuring consistent execution and revenue growth through proactive opportunity management.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with Country Sales, Local Service, and EMEA Service Teams to identify and implement new service business opportunities, ensuring alignment across departments.
+ **Sales Strategy & Execution** : Implement effective sales approaches to strengthen client relationships, expand market reach, and support demand and solution generation for Trade Sales growth.
+ **Customer-Centric Engagement:** Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, conduct regular visits (online/offline), and lead site assessments when required (minimum 50% travel).
+ **Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning** : Act as a subject matter expert on the Power Distribution portfolio, customer buying behavior, and competitive landscape to inform pricing and strategic decisions.
+ **Performance Monitoring & CRM Analysis** : Analyze CRM data to assess pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, hit rates, and order development versus profit planning; Participate in service unit performance reviews and define corrective actions.
+ **Contract & Agreement Support** : Support the implementation of service contracts and agreements with key accounts, ensuring timely allocation of inquiries and fast customer response.
+ **Financial & Strategic Sales Management:** Use financial techniques to improve revenue, assess risks and opportunities, and coordinate product/solution development with relevant functions.
+ **Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement** : Lead local PD Service Sales resources, review their performance, monitor customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement; Stay updated on industry trends through events and market research.
**Qualifications:**
+ Educated at Bachelors' degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering or Business;
+ Strong experience in sales, business development for power distribution products and solutions of at least 5 years.
**Skills:**
+ Experience in dealing with and conducting negotiations with customers.
+ Experience in attending exhibitions/ conferences and conducting presentations.
+ Market and technology savvy, working knowledge of respective cluster/country market, trends, competitors.
+ Strong communication skills, fluent in English, other EMEA languages are a plus.
+ Entrepreneurial mindset able to influence stakeholders.
+ Ability to lead and manage projects/activities through influence.
+ Strong customer focus.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesFunctional Management
- Research the requirements for new standards and evaluatestandards under review, following standard operating procedures.
- Ensure completeness of proposals substantiating therelevance and need for a national standard (e.g., economic,policy, regulatory, conformity assessment, health, safety, and environment, etc.).
- Submit research outputs and recommended plan to internal and external stakeholders for review.
- Keep abreast of new standards or projects (international and Regional) in other areas as relevant to projects within sphere of control.
- Provide support and guidance to more junior team members where required.
- Work on multiple projects (complex) simultaneously
- Develop or innovate new theories/ solutions
- Discuss and assist line management to make sure that the standards development team and current technologies are aligned with the business' goals and vision of the organization.
- Facilitate the development of South African National Standards and other related deliverables in line with the division's processes and procedures.
- Plan and adhere to all milestones for the delivery of the standard together in consultation with line management.
- Formulate working drafts in collaboration with the working group members according to the preliminary work item and capture technical requirements into written standards.
- Prepare and circulate committee drafts according to Rules for the Structure and Drafting of National Standards Document (ARP 013) and ensure consensus is reached on the draft
- Facilitate the process for the editing of the draft documents and ensure that documents are technically reviewed, and drawingsare prepared and typed as required.
- Monitor the timeous circulation of Draft South African Standard
- Collate comments received at the Draft South African Standard stage.
- Ensure due process is followed including the quality of publications.
- Provide progress reports and escalate to line management on deviations as required.
- Ensure that all projects identified have been registered
- Provide consolidated viewpoint from mirror committee on international documents and the decisions of the mirror committee.
Risk and Compliance Management
- Assist in identifying and adhering to fraud controls, risk prevention principles, sound governance and compliance processes, and tools to identify and manage risks
- Monitor changes in the regulatory environment and ensure that appropriate operational controls are implemented to address new requirements.
- Support and provide evidence to all internal and external audit, ISO and Accreditation requirements.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, policies and Standard Operating Procedures throughout the organisation.
- Ensure that standards adhere to company policies and
standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Identify and mitigate internal systems and procedural barriers to enhance excellent customer service.
- Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships for the purpose of expectations management,knowledge sharing and integration, and to manage the organisation's reputation.
- Facilitate the need to participate in International and Regional Standardisation Committees, including membership levels,and ensure effective contribution on standards projects that
South Africa participates in. - Fulfil the approved leadership roles in International standards development committees as required.
- Provide advocacy and guidance to relevant stakeholders.
- Chair committee meetings effectively when required.
- Educate all stakeholders on the standards development process through workshops and meetings and represent the organization as proficient in the standards development process.
- Represent and participate in the organisation's committees and tasks teams when required.
- Convene and attend meetings and present performance and business information to relevant stakeholders when required.
- Provide technical support on projects when required.
- Actively liaise and build relationships with SABS clients and service providers so as to ensure that the service standards are met appropriately.
- Effectively manage customer complaints through timeous resolution and/or escalation as required.
- Analyze queries and develop mechanisms to proactively resolve common issues and share lessons learned.
