Technical Sales Representative ( Underground Mining)
POSITION INFO :
Drive sales of mining ventilation and ancillaries by engaging with mining and industrial clients, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored technical proposals.
Generate new business : Identify and pursue qualified leads in mining and engineering sectors across South Africa and broader Africa.
Client engagement : Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and workshops to articulate products’ functional, safety, and cost‑benefit advantages.
Proposal development : Assist in preparing accurate and compelling quotations, bill of materials, and recommendations aligned with customer requirements.
Account management : Maintain strong client relationships and support contract renewals, expansions, or follow‑ups.
Cross-functional coordination : Work with design, engineering, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Industry expertise : Stay updated on industry standards, ISO 9001 : 2008, mining regulations, and emerging ventilation technologies.
Sales performance : Achieve or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to group-level market growth.

OSG Mining (Pty) Ltd is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Drivers to support our mining operations across Gauteng and surrounding regions. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of minerals, materials, equipment, and personnel to and from mining sites. br>
Key Responsibilities:
Transport mineral loads (ore, aggregates, etc.) from mining sites to processing plants or stockpile locations.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with road safety regulations, company policies, and mining site rules.
Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
Operate heavy-duty vehicles such as tipper trucks, flatbeds, or lowbed trailers as required.
Assist with basic loading and offloading when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicles.
Requirements:
Valid South African driver’s license (Code 10 or Code 14) with valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP). < r>
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience in mining, construction, or heavy logistics sectors.
Knowledge of mining site safety protocols and haul road procedures.
Physically fit and able to work long hours, including occasional weekends or night shifts.
Good communication skills and professional conduct.
High level of reliability and accountability.
