WSP has a new opportunity for a Junior Traffic and Transportation Engineer to be part of our Transport & Infrastructure team on a full-time basis , based in Cape Town or Midrand .
The typical role and responsibilities of this role include providing Traffic and Transport Planning Engineering services in sectors such as highways, land development, mining, infrastructure, environmental, and property and buildings. Priorities may change according to business requirements; however, the candidate is expected to have the following:
Qualifications- A completed BEng/BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering
- 5 to 10 years relevant experience
- Must be registered as Candidate Engineer with ECSA, and nearing professional registration
- Proven track record in utilizing traffic and transport planning software:
- Proficient in SIDRA intersection and network analysis
- Working knowledge of interpreting and assisting with EMME and VISSIM modelling
- Basic CAD/Revit design experience
- Driver’s licence

- Prepare practical technically competent reports, documents and proposals under principal review.
- Contribute in the implementation of corporate HSSE programs across our office teams.
