To coordinate orders and provide administrative support to the Supply Chain and Sales team to facilitate the productivity of the Processing of Orders.
Responsibilities
- Receive all sales orders and process on the Cella system
- Upload orders to the external warehouse order fulfilment system. Ensure stock is allocated and rotated according to agreed standards
- Support the sourcing of new suppliers and grow the relationship with current suppliers to achieve savings and business GP objectives
- Identify and drive opportunities for improvements in terms of service improvement and overall cost reduction for the complete supply chain
- Drive price variances to the minimum and support any inventory initiatives
- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers ensuring backorders products are delivered on time, resolve any queries and escalate any concerns.
- Capturing of all purchase orders and jobs in Syspro & sending them to manufactures and suppliers
- Maintain an efficient supplier database and current pricing matrix
- Support any supplier pricing improvement projects
- Follow up/ manage customer delivery requirements regarding stock and transport and communicate proactively with the customer on progress
- Coordinate with customers and internal functions (mainly sales & operations) to manage product shortages and mitigate impact on customer relationships
