About the Role
As a Theatre?qualified Registered Nurse, you’ll play a critical role in a high?acuity surgical environment—circulating and scrubbing across multiple disciplines while ensuring clinical quality, patient safety and a seamless theatre flow. What You’ll Do
Provide scrub and circulating support across cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general theatres; prepare, check and manage instruments, equipment and supplies.
Ensure nursing care complies with SANC regulations, relevant legislation and hospital policies; maintain accurate clinical records and checklists.
Uphold SHEQ, infection prevention and control, and safety standards; keep theatres audit?ready at all times.
Liaise with doctors and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate lists, anticipate needs and resolve issues quickly.
Maintain theatre cleanliness and environmental hygiene; enforce aseptic technique and waste management protocols.
Manage labour hours and staffing allocations to ensure adequate, cost?effective cover; contribute to orientation and supervision of staff.
Implement systems for optimal stock management, ordering and patient charging; investigate variances and drive cost control.

What You Bring
Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse (Theatre qualification/experience compulsory).
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Theatre; proven scrub experience (cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general advantageous).
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in a senior or coordinating role.
Excellent interpersonal skills with empathy, patience and strong customer orientation.
Sound planning, organising and time?management; accurate decision?making under pressure; resilient and stress?tolerant.
