FMCG concern is seeking a suitable candidate to manage and lead team members to ensure maximum utilisation of production facilities, equipment, raw materials, packs/materials, and labour to produce quality products at the lowest possible cost.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure service delivery to and from internal and external clients is monitored and complies with standards.
• Communicate the production plan and carry out preplanning/preparation for production.
• Monitor the production start-up process and assist operators with start-up deviations.
• Manage barriers to implementation of plans.
• Review performance at regular intervals.
• Monitor, maintain, and review utilisation and productivity.
• Manage downtime and production loss incidents consistently.
• Initiate productivity improvements.
• Ensure quality and production documentation are completed as per work procedures.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to production and quality procedures and standards.
• Manage all process and quality deviations.
• Conduct audits and manage findings.
• Maintain and ensure adherence to cleaning schedules and work instructions as per factory requirements.
• Oversee plant maintenance and engineering services.
• Assist with first-line and preventative maintenance.
• Monitor machine condition checks and contact maintenance support as needed.
• Apply 5S principles and perform area and equipment audits and inspections.
• Investigate and manage incidents.

Requirements:

• Matriculated qualification.
• National Diploma or equivalent in Food Technology, Production, or related fields.
• Team leader/management/supervisory training is essential.
• Previous FMCG experience preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering/mechanical principles, material requirement planning, plant capacity, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Understanding of process control, microbiology, biochemistry, processing equipment, CIP procedures, HACCP, GMP, quality control, and assurance, raw material functions, instrumentation, fault finding, health and safety, and food legislation.

In this role, you'll operate autonomously while providing senior-level guidance, managing teams, and overseeing project progress.

Your main focus will be leading Quality Engineering projects, utilizing available test frameworks and tools to ensure projects meet their goals on time and within budget.

• Take charge of various technical phases within projects or multiple smaller projects, which may involve moderate scope and occasionally complex tasks.

1. The Test Analyst assigned to the DevOps team will be responsible for the creation and execution of the required testing against a detailed test plan.
2. A master test plan shall be drafted and approved by all stakeholders, which will govern each release. The specifics, such as the scope and any changes to strategy, methodology, tool usage, or other details for the release, will be documented and filed as the current release test plan specifics. What you would do as their Test Automation Engineer
You will be working as part of the agile firmware development team, focusing on Continuous Integration and Deployment of the embedded devices.
Your daily tasks may include:

• Design and maintain automated tests for new and existing products
• Integrate hardware into the build pipelines for automated testing
