As the company continues to expand rapidly, it is seeking a Gaming and Technology Specialist in Johannesburg to join its growing team. This department is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality gaming experience on MGA licensed platforms.
The primary focus of this role is to ensure the successful delivery of a superior gaming product across MGA licensed platforms. This includes the responsibility for ensuring games adhere to regulatory standards and are strategically positioned for optimal commercial performance.
Additionally, the role is tasked with optimizing the game portfolio to meet business goals, ensuring that games are effectively integrated into promotional strategies to maximize their impact and success.
Your key job responsibilities as the Gaming and Technology Specialist in Johannesburg will include:
Oversee and manage the game operations compliance process.Regularly review and update relevant policy documentation.Ensure games comply with MGA regulations, including testing 10% of games before launch and on an ongoing basis.Collect and securely store all RNG and RTP certificates for audit purposes.Develop and maintain game product policies and procedures, including areas like compliance, certification, deployment, big win authorization, and country restrictions.Monitor adherence to game operation policies and procedures.Track data to ensure games are not accessible in blocked or restricted regions.Manage the complete gaming product lifecycle.Ensure Game Service Provider contract compliance is documented and adhered to.Lead the integration and onboarding of new game service providers, maintaining collaborative relationships.Oversee the technical release of games on the platform.Conduct market research to identify gameplay trends.Manage the integration of Game Service Providers in collaboration with WHG, ensuring efficient processes.Optimize game placement to achieve high profitability.Prepare reports and analytics on gameplay, profitability, customer trends, and the effectiveness of promotions.Ensure timely billing and payments to Game Service Providers, and work with the finance team to ensure taxes are paid in applicable regions.Plan and coordinate GSP migrations, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.Manage migration projects to ensure completion within set timelines.Monitor game functionality, RTP, interruptions, and payouts for big wins and jackpots.Triage game support inquiries from various departments, including customer support.Maintain an approved list of games categorized by type, RTP, profitability, status, and positioning.Update the business and website regarding new and retiring games.Manage communication across the business related to games, reporting, technical support, compliance, and testing.RequirementsRequirements for this Gaming and Technology Specialist job in Johannesburg :

Key Responsibilities
- Drive and deliver treasury and fintech system projects using PMBOK, PMI, or Agile frameworks

Hotazel Manganese Mines (HMM) is made up of two Manganese mines Mamatwan and Wessels. Both operations are located in the Kalahari Basin, home to 80 per cent of the world’s manganese reserves.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a permanent full-time position.
As a Specialist Technology and Analysis and Improvement (Security), you will be responsible for developing, deploying and continuously improving the introduction, application, and maintenance strategies for the Security technology and systems sub-function in support of security operations at HMM.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Ensure compliance to work plans.
- Supervise and advise the necessary security technology programs and projects as well as the adherence to the required Security Standards.
- Maintain security networks, infrastructure, software development and operational technology.
- Optimize, standardize, and ensure effective access control systems (X-Time).
- Optimize and ensure effective CCTV Surveillance.
- Keep abreast of new technology development and advise on potential technology improvements and effectiveness
- Ensure Access Control Systems (X-Time) are effective, well maintained, and operational.
- Ensure security networks, infrastructure, software development, operational technology, cloud, and maintenance is kept up to date.
- Develop and maintain equipment (CCTV, Access Control) maintenance strategies for all equipment within the operations. Owns and develops all associated task lists and work instructions
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 5 Years substantiated experience in the security technology field.
- Security systems experience with specialist knowledge of general security operations and application of technology, of which at least 2 years in the Mining Environment.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12
- Must be in possession of at least a 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF6) related to Security and/or IT Management or Equivalent qualification. National Diploma or an Advanced Certificate.
- Valid Code E/EB driving license

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Tax Technology Specialist with at least 6 years of experience in tax technology within a global organization or consulting firm. This role will focus on driving the integration, automation, and optimization of tax processes and systems across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax compliance and reporting requirements, coupled with technical expertise in tax technology tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support across the Group in relation to tax automation, ERP integration (TRCS, Vertex, SAP, Cognos) and tax data management.
- Deliver according to the project plans developed by the tax technology manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Proactively communicate project dependencies, risks to the technology manager.
- Manage the implementation and optimization of tax technology solutions to streamline compliance and reporting processes.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows to ensure timely and accurate data processing for tax compliance and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of tax data through system enhancements and robust controls.
- Collaborate with tax and finance teams to address technical challenges in compliance and reporting processes.
- Monitor global tax regulatory changes and update systems to reflect compliance requirements.
- Build dashboards and analytics tools to provide actionable insights for tax planning and compliance.
- Ensure tax systems support robust data validation and reconciliation processes.
- Partner with IT, finance, and tax teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Act as a bridge between TESS, the business and Group Tax to ensure user requirements are met.
- Provide training and support to tax teams on new technologies and workflows.
- Assisting with testing and parallel runs for as required
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance tax technology capabilities.
- Assist with the transition from manual to digital processes by promoting a culture of innovation within the tax function.
- Assist the Tax Technology Manager to develop and implement a long-term tax technology roadmap in alignment with the TESS
- Support the Group Tax Technology Manager on any other tax technology projects and assignments as required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: At least 6 years of experience in tax technology within a global organization or consulting firm
Skills:
- Strong tax technical knowledge
- Strong knowledge of global tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- Hands-on experience with tax technology platforms (e.g., SAP Tax Module, Oracle, OneSource, Vertex, or similar).
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
