- Assisting the Technicians with installation, commissioning and maintenance of electronic security systems
- Assisting the Technicians with their daily duties and tasks
- Attention to detail on all aspects of relevant responsibilities;
- Adhering to the Agreement between the client and the company;
- Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations;
- General housekeeping of office and technical vehicles;
- Assisting with general office administration when required to do so.
- Management and Control of Documentation, including Registers, Overtime and Route Sheets;
- Available to work overtime when required under special circumstances;
- Be willing to undergo a Polygraph test.
Preferred qualifications/ attributes/ skills:
- Proof of PSIRA certification Grade C;
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;

- Must be able to work under pressure and have an analytical approach to addressing challenges.
- Drivers license Code 08 will be advantageous;
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
- Need to be able to travel and work as part of a team;
- No criminal record;
- Knowledge and understanding of CCTV Systems, Alarms & PCs will be advantageous;

The Technical Writer is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for writing medium to complex company documents such as instruction manuals, intermediate to end-user manuals, reference guides, operating procedure guides, white papers, and specialized product descriptions. This role is responsible for writing complex ideas in simple ways. This role is responsible for doing research, creating, writing and editing content.
Key responsibilities:
- Creates clear and concise material, taking care of editing and proofreading tasks.
- Updates and maintains a library of service catalogues and associated documents such as RACI's.
- Revises or rewrites existing technical documentation.
- Conducts research and gathers information and study target audiences.
- Tests whether users understand newly developed material.
- Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the subject is understood.
- Works closely with printers, illustrators, graphic designers, translators and other relevant professionals.
- Stays up to date with the latest trends and developments in the industry.
- Compiles information by order of usability.
- Organizes all documents into the database and make copies for data security.
- Performs any other related task as required.

- Seasoned ability to conduct proper subject matter research to enable the writing of relevant material.
- Ability to do effective plan out any development requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to be able to transfer knowledge without resorting to complex language.

Academic qualifications and certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications or a related field.
Required experience:

- Seasoned experience working closely with printers, illustrators, graphic designers, translators and other relevant professionals.
