Responsibilities:

  1. Establish strong working relationships with Department of Health, Government Departments, Traditional leaders, local community leaders, and Implementing partners to smoothen ADAPT implementation.
  2. Arrange, attend, and represent ADAPT at all stakeholder meetings.
  3. Coordinate ADAPT implementation with DOH and other Implementing partners.
  4. Attend key meetings and provide feedback sessions.
  5. Develop Direct Service delivery project plan.
  6. Manage deliverables according to the project plan.
  7. Support staff recruiting and training.
  8. Lead and manage DSD implementing team.
  9. Provide technical support to Partner teams in the province.
  10. Establish project schedule and monitor implementation.
  11. Assign tasks to project team members.
  12. Communicate with RTC Senior management.
  13. Ensure proper data management.
  14. Manage fleet and resources.
  15. Monitor all project activities, targets, expenditures, and progress towards achieving ADAPT outputs.
  16. Recommend further improvement to field activities.
  17. Provide feedback to Senior Management on project strategies and activities.
  18. Suggest strategies to Senior Management for improving efficiency and effectiveness of ADAPT implementation by identifying bottlenecks and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
  19. Report weekly progress on all field activities to Senior management.
  20. Assist implementing teams and partners with monitoring tools use.
  21. Perform other duties as required.

Staff Management:

  1. Offer constant feedback to staff and keep everyone in sync.
  2. Ensure adequate staff performance.
  3. Keep staff morale high and take steps to improve retention.
  4. Manage staff schedules and assign individual responsibilities.
  5. Ensure workforce is satisfied in their roles.

Requirements:

  1. A Diploma/Degree in Nursing or any allied health care service.
  2. 5 years’ experience leading health programs at the district level, and 5 years partner relationship management experience.

Requirements for the Senior Technical Coordinator role

  • Relevant professional qualification to either Degree, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 5.
  • Chartered Membership of a recognised Professional body e.g. RICS, CIOB, CIAT, RIBA etc.
  • A pro-active management style with capability to manage and coordinate the design team on challenging sites.
  • Effective people management of direct reports, giving feedback, direction, support, and coaching.
  • Skills including assertiveness, being decisive, flexible, good time management, organised, effective at chairing / participating in meetings, works well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
