As a Technical Consultant you will be responsible for managing and delivering integration projects across our customer base. You'll play a key role in ensuring successful Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementations, third-party system integrations (e.g., ERP, WMS, eCommerce), and API-led connectivity that supports real-time data exchange. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong technical understanding, and stakeholder communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end integration and EDI projects for new and existing customers.
- Work closely with internal teams (Product, Support, Development) and external stakeholders (customers, third-party vendors) to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Map, configure, test, and validate EDI/document exchange protocols (e.g., EDIFACT, XML, CSV, JSON, AS2, SFTP) and utilitise the ERP One Data Exchange toolset alongside third-party tools.
- Support customers with onboarding new trading partners and data flows.
- Maintain clear documentation for integrations, including process flows, specifications, and test plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data exchange issues during and after go-live.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration frameworks, templates, and project delivery methodologies.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role delivering software integrations and EDI projects.
- Familiarity with transport and warehouse management systems (TMS/WMS) or logistics operations is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards and communication protocols.
- Experience working with APIs (REST, SOAP) and file-based data exchange.
- Project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills – able to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of scripting or basic data transformation (e.g., SQL, XSLT, or middleware tools) is a plus.
- Knowledge of KCML is desirable.

Job Purpose
As a Technical Consultant within our Enterprise Business Systems team, you will be responsible for executing design buildouts for our critical business systems, You will transform high-level designs into low level designs, and effective, detailed solutions, leveraging automation tools including Power Automate and Workato to streamline processes and configuration within Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and other third party systems. This role requires a creative problem-solver with strong Excel and experience in building complex business rules to drive efficiency.
Duties And Responsibilities
Reporting to the Lead Architect, the key deliverables of the role can be summarised as follows:
- Compliance: Ensure compliance of security policies through user awareness and guidance of security best practices in accordance with our ISO and other security standards.
- Ambassadorship: Be an ambassador for the Enterprise Business Systems team in the respective location and championing Kaizen policies and procedures.
- Business Analysis: Consult with the business for new requirements and clearly document the requirements to be used by the architect team for solution design.
- Design Execution: Translate high-level designs into detailed technical specifications and implement solutions across Middleware tool (Workato), Power Platform and Dynamics 365
- Automation Toolsets: Utilise Power Automate and Workato to create efficient workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure smooth data flow across systems. Understanding of data models and structures within API's.
- Rule-Building and Process Streamlining: Develop and implement complex business rules to optimise workflows, improve data accuracy, and support streamlined integration processes.
- Collaboration with Third Parties: Work closely with third-party vendors and consultants to execute configuration that align with our architectural standards.
- Documentation and Testing: Produce clear documentation for the features/systems, including design specifications, test plans, and operational guides.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all changes meet quality benchmarks for performance and reliability, with thorough testing and optimization.
- Training Material: Create training material on the new features or changes for end users, which may include virtual training sessions.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to improve technical processes, leveraging best practices to enhance efficiency and errors.
Experience And Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience with integration platforms and automation tools, including Power Automate, Workato or any other automation toolsets, like N8N, Zapier, MuleSoft and as a few examples,
- Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis, to support integration processes and reporting.
- Design Proficiency: Ability to interpret high-level designs and develop detailed, low-level specifications, particularly in data mapping and workflow automation.
- Problem Solving and Initiative: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently identify and address complex issues.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with internal teams and third-party partners.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Initiative: Curiosity and a desire to learn how things work and why things are done is a key skill to being successful in this role
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven years of experience in technical consulting.
- Extensive experience working experience with M365, Entra, SharePoint and MS Teams including building automation for these services
- Proven years' working experience with Power Platform Model Driven Apps,
- Experience building complex rules and workflows to streamline business processes.
- Relevant certifications are advantageous but not essential.
- Programming experience or at least willingness to understand code by others (SQL, Ruby, JavaScript, Python).
Budgeted salary range for this role is ZAR 600,000 Annual and Benefits.

The Role
You'll work closely with IT and business leaders, both onsite and remotely, to gain a deep understanding of their core operations – ensuring our IT strategies and solutions are fully aligned with their business goals. This is your chance to directly influence how technology empowers our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Project work, design and implementation of IT solutions with a focus on understanding and meeting business needs
- Proactive IT management of clients, identifying improvements and maintaining security to the Cyber Essentials standard
- Technical Support – Service Desk Escalation, working with, mentoring and training more junior members of staff
- Proactive Engineering – Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide pre-emptive technical solutions to meet business needs. Mitigating risks to customer technical estates and ensuring their infrastructure is well maintained and appropriate to company needs.
- Project Engineering –Implementing, technical solutions such as Windows Virtual Desktop, Zero Touch deployment, Azure AD, Office365, MFA, and associated security services.
- IT Management – when assigned, provide strategic management and leadership for the customer, ensuring that this delivers on the clients technical and business objectives
- 3rd line support escalation – whether working on the service desk or supporting customer onsite
- Taking ownership and drive forward any assigned support tickets escalated from the service desk KPIs for Senior Technical consultants
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years in a Senior Engineering role
- Broad technical experience encompassing but not limited to; working with Windows Server, VMWare, Exchange, Office365, SQL, Azure, Active Directory
- Knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, DSL Routers), colocation and hybrid environments
- Diagnostic information gathering and analytical thinking, the ability to understand the architecture of operations and undertake root cause analysis.
- The ability to undertake research consulting a range of data sources and critical thinking skills to provide detailed and accurate analysis.
- Accurate and effective communication using a variety of techniques including verbal and written work.
- The ability to form strong and collaborative relationships with both customers, vendors and colleagues
- Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team, with excellent time management, the ability to prioritise
- Creative problem solving, and the ability to use initiative
- A background in managed services and IT Support is advantageous

This is an exciting opportunity where, as a Technical Consultant, you will be driving Aortic and Peripheral Vascular Health. Key part of this role will be to accelerate the adoption of these innovative therapies. For this position, you are expected to be in Pretoria, South Africa.

**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Achieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified region by supporting Vascular Surgeons giving technical consultancy in theatre during cases
+ Conduct on-site education and consulting, and support establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations in the name of Medtronic
+ Provide technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions and customers through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products
+ Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand
+ Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock
+ Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry
+ Travel requirement 25% of the time (this includes regionally and nationally if needed).
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ 4 years medical device sales experience in a hospital environment; selling interventional cardiology or vascular surgery products
+ Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms and/or Thoracic Procedural knowledge is a must
+ Be available to be on call for emergency cases
+ Cover cases in the other regions
+ Solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy.
