Activities

  • Research startup founders, accelerators, co-working spaces, and ecosystem enablers.

Job Description

Our client is a is a boutique advisory firm that supports senior leaders and organisations navigating complex strategic and operational challenges across various sectors . The firm delivers tailored, insight-driven solutions designed to drive measurable impact .

They are seeking a Project Operations Lead to help scale internal operations and support the leadership team in shaping the next phase of growth.

This role is ideal for a current or former consultant who thrives in a high-performance environment and is eager to apply their problem-solving, communication, and project management skills in an internal leadership capacity. The Project Operations Lead will work directly with the Founder and senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into action , lead internal initiatives, and optimise the firm’s operating model. The role blends elements of internal consulting, operations leadership, and executive support.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (preferably in finance, investment management or accounting).
  • CA/SA (SAICA) or CFA preferred
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in consulting (e.g., strategy, management, or development consulting).
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder projects and managing compliance and reporting processes.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft high-quality deliverables quickly.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and bias for action.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business judgment, attention to detail, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Passion for building and improving systems, processes, and team culture.
