• Able to apply basic principles of forensic tax auditing in reviewing taxpayer information in conjunction with third party information.
• Able to conduct limited/standard audits to ensure compliance.
• Must have knowledge in managing objections, compromise and deferment process.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately, including percentages, fractions, decimals and simple mathematical formulae.
• Must be able to work on multiple clients/cases at once.
• Highly motivated with an ability to solve practical problems and follow written, verbal or other instructions with several concrete variables.
• Attention to detail and the ability to organise complex information neatly and accurately.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Self-directed with an ability to learn a systematic approach to accounting and to follow the approach without direction to maintain the integrity of the financial data.
