- Prepare accurate financial statements and maintain up-to-date trial balances
- Coordinate and process local payments and manage petty cash
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations (including provisions, accruals, tax, and depreciation)
- Manage debtors and creditors, reviewing reconciliations and balances
- Process monthly management journals and intergroup transactions
- Assist with budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting
- Review fixed asset register and account for depreciation
- Ensure tax compliance (VAT and payroll taxes) and liaise with SARS as needed
- Compile annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational efficiency
- Prepare accurate financial statements and maintain up-to-date trial balances

- SAIPA registration – advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Draftworx and EpiCor advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, income tax, and VAT
- Own transport required
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and tax legislation
- High attention to detail, numeracy, and problem-solving ability
- Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
