RPO Recruitment's client is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to oversee and coordinate their food production supply chain operations in Boksburg, South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing supply chain strategies to ensure efficient and timely production of food products. The Supply Chain Planning Manager will work closely with various teams including production, logistics, procurement, and sales to streamline processes, reduce costs, and optimize inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demands
- Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in the food production industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions based on data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and supply chain management software
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g. APICS, CSCP) is a plus

Duties :
