Minimum Requirements:- 4 years’ experience within consulting Engineering environment.
- Technical ability to understand Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Prokon.
- Carry out Engineering Drawing Design (concrete and Steel) in AutoCAD and Prokon.
- Prepare reinforcement drawings using AutoCAD Structural Detailing Software according to SANS codes.
- Compile Bill of Quantities.
- Undertake site inspections and manage site queries.
- Manage the filing of drawings for accuracy and correctness.
- Ensure drawings are issued on time.

The selected candidate will work full-time and report to the Senior Partner, with key responsibilities including :
Producing and assisting in the creation of schematic and detailed technical drawings, transitioning from concept designs to detailed sketches and drawings across architectural, civil, and structural engineering disciplines.

Requirements

Education and Experience :
A recognized professional qualification in the field of structural or civil engineering.
Proven experience in drafting complex and / or large-scale projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams from concept to completion.
Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of applicable standards, legislation, and practices in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Autodesk,
Revit,
and related software; knowledge of BIM is highly advantageous.
Soft Skills :
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
The ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills.
A collaborative mindset with a focus on achieving immediate goals while fostering long-term productive relationships.
Additional Skills :
Familiarity with hotel, commercial, and residential developments is a plus.

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer with deep expertise in Finite Element Modelling (FEM) to join our growing in-house engineering team.
This is a full-time, in office position; as well as a specialist role that focuses on advanced structural analysis and performance-based design of building systems.
As a FEM Specialist , youll take the lead on the complex structural analysis of new and existing building systems, including modular, hybrid, and non-traditional construction methods.
You will be responsible for developing high-fidelity finite element models and simulations to assess structural behaviour under various load conditions, and collaborate closely with engineers, and manufacturing specialists.

The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render technical services and support in engineering research, design, manufacturing, operations and maintenance.
Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year National Diploma in Engineering Civil and Structural or relevant qualification; Compulsory registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as an Engineering Technician; A minimum of 3 years relevant post qualification technical (Engineering) experience; A valid code B driving licence.
Key Performance Areas- Render technical services;
- Assist Engineers, Technologists and associates in field, workshop, and technical office activities;
- Promote safety in line with statutory and regulatory requirements;
- Evaluate existing technical manuals, standard drawings and procedures to incorporate new technology and review and or produce technical designs with specifications and submit for evaluation and approval by the relevant authority;
- Perform administrative and related functions;
- Provide input into the budgeting process as required;
- Compile and submit reports as required;
- Provide and consolidate inputs to the technical/engineering operational plan;
- Develop, implement and maintain databases and supervise and control technical and related personnel and assets;
- Research and development;
- Continuous professional development to keep up with new technologies and procedures;
- Research/literature studies on technical engineering technology to improve expertise and liaise with relevant bodies/councils on engineering related matters.

RemunerationGrade A: R 371 253 - R 396 522 per annum; Grade B: R419 325- R 449 079 per annum; Grade C: R 472 812- R 556 080 per annum, (Salary will be determined based on post registration experience as per OSD prescribed).

Minimum Requirements:
Trade-Tested Boilermaker OR Mechanical Engineering qualification with strong boilermaking experience (non-negotiable)
Proven experience in structural fabrication and related engineering environments
Minimum of 5 years in an operations or supervisory management role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies and plans
Experience in quoting, reviewing, and cost estimation
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations across fabrication and workshop teams
