MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES #LI-DNI

1. Create visibility to Loss Data

  • Lead annual Loss Analysis to support sites OGSM (Objectives Goals Strategies and Measures) and budget targets
  • Help prioritize loss reduction projects in collaboration with the site leadership team
  • Provide supporting data analysis and justifications for any technology improvements and capital expenditures and feasibility studies
  • Lead site Focused Improvement pillar

2. Lead site Data and Analytics

  • Maintain integrity of site data through training health checks and change control. Focus includes scorecards downtime data base manual tracking systems and SAP master data.
  • Provide analysis and insights to key performance metrics like Process Reliability Productivity Yield and Scrap.
  • Collate and publish site scorecard every month.
  • Create and execute site Analytics strategy.
  • Establish scorecard review processes based on the appropriate frequency and participants.
  • Drive data-based decision-making behavior at all levels

  • CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or a related discipline is required
  • Minimum of 5 years working in manufacturing operations in FMCG company (preferably in food industry)
  • Background in Total Productive Maintenance / Lean Change Management and Organizational Effectiveness
  • Experience in a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) preferred
  • Team and Operations Leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI
  • Familiarity with creating reports using our current (and future) BI tools e.g. SAP Hana Tableau
  • Experience analysing complex datasets generating insights and building robust statistical models (comfortable working with structured and unstructured data)

    Overview

    We are looking for a Performance Marketing Executive to join our Inspired Online Schools In-house Agency Team, based in Johannesburg. Reporting to the Senior Performance Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for setting up, implementing, and managing digital marketing performance for Inspired Online Schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for digital technologies and all digital marketing channels, be tech-savvy and intuitive, with great ideas to reinforce our marketing strategies.

    Responsibilities
    • Implement digital marketing activities across a broad range of channels, including SEM, social media, and display.
    • Launch optimized online adverts, including but not limited to Google Ads and Microsoft Bing.
    • Measure the performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
    • Support the team in developing the overall digital marketing strategy.
    • Assist with the setup of conversion tracking, pixel, and event tracking on the website and across various digital platforms.
    • Conduct research on market trends, brand audiences, competitors, and the end-to-end consumer journey to drive engagement and conversions.
    • Analyse digital marketing analytics reports and share insights with the team to develop optimization plans.
    • Stay abreast of emerging digital tools and platforms, marketing trends, and new technologies, sharing insights with the team.
    Qualifications
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies, or a related field.
    • Between 12 to 18 months of experience working on the agency side.
    • Demonstrated experience in a Digital Marketing Executive role or similar capacity.
    • A strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and industry best practices.
    • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, SEO/SEM, and B2C social media marketing.
    • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics to drive data-informed decisions.
    • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
    • An analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
