The overall purpose of the position:
To ensure optimal performance of all Solar PV plants within the SOLA fleet through continuous monitoring, data and system analysis and remote technical support. To ensure that all projects meet their expected energy yield, system performance and plant availability on an annual basis. The fleet currently consists of 9 utility projects (approximately 630MWp, and growing).

Summary of Responsibilities:
Technical
- Monitor all the Solar PV plants on a daily basis from the Cape Town Control Room and via remote access (VPN) to each site.
- Actively engage with site technicians
via communication channels to point out and investigate site related issues that are affecting performance and/or plant availability. - Engage with site technicians on concluding the site troubleshooting to ensure faults are resolved with a proper RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and reporting to O&M Engineer.
- Provide detailed explanations for variances or deviations from expected results.
- Conduct daily system performance analysis to monitor and report on plant health, efficiency, and output.
- Perform comprehensive daily checks to verify that all major equipment (inverters, trackers, etc.) and communication links to the SCADA system are fully functional.
- Ensure all equipment is operating at desired setpoints and that the Power Plant Controller (PPC) is accurately measuring and issuing commands.
- Perform detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis for underperforming or malfunctioning equipment.
- Collaborate with on-site technicians and O&M engineers to guide and assist with complex fault-finding activities.
- Act as the primary liaison with the SCADA OEM to report and resolve data logging or reporting discrepancies, ensuring data integrity.
- Execute detailed soiling analysis to determine soiling rates and degradation impact on performance.
- Work closely with O&M engineers to define optimal cleaning schedules based on data-driven analysis.
- Demonstrate proficiency with SEL, ABB, or similar protection and control relays, including the ability to interpret data logs and analyse system events for troubleshooting.
- Possess a strong understanding of MV/HV substation automation schemes and their associated control and monitoring philosophies.
- Exhibit the ability to read, interpret, and analyse technical drawings, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and site layouts, with the capability to update them as needed.
Administrative/Operational
- Compile technical information in support of Utility O&M Manager for monthly client reports.
- Compile and review weekly, monthly and annual reports and ensure calculations, data and results are correct.
- Engage with stakeholders if technical questions arise from the reports and ensure corrections are made if needed.
- Perform other administrative tasks and reporting as required from time to time.
Interpersonal
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders by attending to their queries both verbally and in writing.
- Work closely with the site leads, O&M technicians and other engineers to ensure the optimal performance of each site.
- Be self-driven and have a strong ability to work independently, but able to work according to approved systems framework and standards and also equally comfortable to work in a multi-disciplinary O&M team.
- Ability to teach and coach site technical personnel on all related technical matters.
- Attention to detail with the ability to attend to multiple technical matters.
Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure system performance and plant availability is achieved as per contractual requirements
- Identify system improvements to exceed P50 energy yield throughout the operational years
- Identify and analyse system issues in a timely manner with detailed root cause analysis
- Improve current performance calculation/reporting processes within O&M and develop new processes to increase efficiency of work-streams within the department
Minimum Requirements:
- At minimum, BTech (Electrical), but Electrical Engineering B.Eng/B.Sc Degree will be advantageous.
- Must have 3-5 years experience with renewable energy systems, control, monitoring, data analysis and reporting applications.
- Must be proficient in Excel and able to do complex calculations and analysis on large data sets.
- In possession of a valid vehicle driver's license (minimum code B).
- Must be in possession or be able to obtain a medical fitness certificate in terms of Annexure 3 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act Construction Regulations.
- Must be willing to travel to operational sites for on-site technical support. On-site work may be up to 75% per month.
- Must be willing to work standby shifts.
- Must be fully proficient in English (verbal and written communication).
- Must be fully computer literate (MS Office Suite and Google App Suite).

We are building a world-class Workforce Management function from the ground up, and as our Performance Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping how we manage operations and deliver seamless customer experiences. This role goes beyond traditional reporting, combining real-time monitoring, deep performance analysis, and actionable insights to drive both immediate and long-term impact.
You'll act as the link between real-time operational control and workforce strategy, monitoring live queues, making tactical adjustments, and identifying trends that influence decision-making. You'll help us move from reactive problem-solving to proactive, continuous improvement for both our agents and customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor live queues and adjust schedules, skills, and workflows to keep SLAs stable.
- Analyse performance data such as productivity, adherence, shrinkage, SL, AHT, and CSAT.
- Support scheduling and forecasting to align staffing with business goals and demand.
- Create reports highlighting anomalies, trends, and recommendations for leaders.
- Escalate service-impacting issues quickly for timely resolution.
- Work with Planning, Forecasting, and Operations to align short-term and long-term needs.
- Assist in setting up, testing, and refining AI WFM tools for automation and prediction.
- Balance efficiency metrics with quality customer interactions to improve experience.
- Become the trusted go-to person for real-time support and data insights.
- Refine real-time practices while building dashboards for long-term opportunities.
- Provide analysis that shapes staffing, skilling, and performance strategies.
- Embed AI WFM tools into daily operations with measurable impact.
- Improve CSAT and agent satisfaction through balanced tactical and strategic focus.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Workforce Management (Realtime, Scheduling, Planning, or Performance).
- Background in contact centres or multi-channel environments (voice, chat, email, social).
- Proficient in WFM platforms such as NICE, Verint, or Genesys, with ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Skilled in reporting tools like Excel, Google Sheets, BI dashboards, or Intercom.
- Familiar with AI or automation-driven WFM solutions, with strong tech curiosity.
- Tertiary education in Business, Operations, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret data, identify trends, and provide recommendations.
- Flexible communicator with resilience, customer focus, and readiness for 24/7 shift work.
Salary and Package
- Salary CTC: R300,000 - R420,000
- Enjoy 33 paid holidays a year
- 40 hours per week across 5 days, with shifts between 9:00am–11:00pm and at least two weekends per month.

- Familiarity with monitoring and profiling tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, or Grafana.
- Good understanding of web technologies, application servers (Tomcat, JBoss), and databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex performance issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

team of Ambassadors within a specific territory across various locations across the country. The
Performance Coach reports directly to the Regional Manager. This role may also deputise for the
Regional Manager for the particular region.
The Performance Coach is responsible to ensure that Ambassadors are correctly trained, equipped,
deployed, scheduled, informed, coached, monitored, managed and supported so that they
continually meet the company's prescribed performance standards. The Performance coach is also
responsible to perform all administrative duties necessary to ensure that the company is protected
and that it executes its obligations to employees.
Key accountabilities:
Ambassador capacitation and development:
· Each Ambassador is comprehensively trained in all necessary aspects to enable them to perform
their role to the minimum set standards at all times.
· Each Ambassador has the correct uniform and all other necessary company provided tools and
equipment, and that these are all in good condition and accounted for
Ambassador in-store presence and performance:
· Each Ambassador meets their set monthly sales and other performance objectives.
· Each Ambassador meets the customer service satisfaction criteria set.
· Each Ambassador has a sound working relationship with store management.
· Each Ambassador adheres to their predetermined work schedule.
· Each Ambassador is correctly attired at all times, and meets company grooming standards.
People Management and administration:
· All prescribed staff documentation and records are correctly completed and stored.
· Monthly store visit schedule is produced in advance and adhered to.
· Ambassadors take leave regularly and no leave balances exceed set maximum.
· Monthly performance appraisals are completed for each ambassador.
· Corrective action is taken for any underperforming staff.
· Disciplinary processes are correctly instituted for any qualifying transgressions.
· Exiting staff are correctly off-boarded.
Requirements:
· Clear credit and criminal record
· South African citizen with a valid ID document, proof of residence, bank account.
· Remotely managed large teams of between 10 and 20 staff members
· Reliable transportation with business insurance
· Tertiary qualification in a business-related field, preferably Sales or Marketing or Commerce is
preferential
· At least 5 years' management experience in a similar portfolio
