What will you be doing?

The role reports into the Business Unit Director of Sports Medicine and is responsible for the achievement of the company objectives and management of the relevant region of South Africa.

What will you need to be successful?

Achieve sales targets as agreed for the year.Monitor service levels within the regionProvide recommendations for the improvement of performance levels and the attainment of strategic objectiveswithin the region.Provide regular feedback on competitive activity within the region.Build relationships with key opinion leaders.Have a working relationship with all departments.Attend sales meetings, conferences, symposiums, workshops and other related activities.

Successful candidates would need the following :

Matric QualificationDegree within the Faculty of Health SciencesAt least 8 years of post-qualification sales experience.Of which a min of 5 years medical device / pharma sales experienceMinimum of 2 year's Sales Management experience in the Medical or Pharmaceutical field.Extensive knowledge of the Medical Devices IndustryDemonstrated track record of expertise and career progress, within the medical devices landscape and the ability to develop strong relationships with KOL's.
