We are looking for a Solution Architect to join us in driving significance together.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall application systems design, balancing requirements against resource utilisation, architectural factors and provisioning cloud-based security architecture solutions for clients that meet regulatory obligations and data protection requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in either Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering or any other relevant field.
• Honours or Master’s in information systems, Informatics, Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
• Certified as a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or near completion).
• TOGAF/Zachman certification would be beneficial.

Experience and Knowledge:

• 10 years of working experience in the relevant industry and/or discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years experience within the solution design or architecture sphere.
• Software Development experience is an advantage.
• Experience in migrating from on-premise infrastructures to cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather functional requirements by working closely with sales team members and enterprise architects to gain a complete sense of client expectations and limitations before undertaking a major development project.
• Develop specifications by using the familiarity with functional requirements and existing systems to develop project specifications.
• Required to develop schedules and test plans, prepare documentation based on analyst reports, and assemble documents presenting project guidelines and milestones to team members. Identify potential issues between systems and client specifications and propose new solutions to work around these limitations.
• Determine a project's scope before developers begin any major work. Conduct extra research on a client's existing systems and configurations to determine whether added time and work are necessary to align the project with enterprise-level systems.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Solution Architect to join our Technology team in a fast-paced logistics environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business operations and technical teams. This role involves gathering and defining user requirements, implementing solutions, developing dashboards and reports, and participating in quality assurance efforts to ensure solution effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, workflows, and pain points.
  • Analyse current business processes and recommend optimizations using data-driven insights.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for development team or low-code/no-code implementation.
  • Support in the design of scalable and user-friendly tech solutions tailored to logistics operations.
  • Stakeholder engagement post go-live to ensure value realisation of solutions.
• Solution Implementation
  • Design, build, and deploy solutions on a variety of platforms.
  • Automate workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Reporting & Dashboards
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure data accuracy and visibility to support decision-making across departments.
  • Effectively communicate complex analysis in easy-to-understand dashboards.
• Quality Assurance
  • Assist in creating test plans and performing functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve bugs and ensure alignment with user expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills & Tools:

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS), data analytics tools, and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Proficiency in software development and understanding of various programming languages
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strategic decision-making
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:20 AM – 4:20 PM, and Alternate Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
