Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission solar PV systems (from 3kW to 100kW+)
• Perform AC/DC wiring, connect inverters, batteries, and configure distribution boards
• Conduct troubleshooting, fault-finding, and repairs on inverters, panels, and systems
• Use professional testing tools (IV curve testers, string testers, meggers, thermal cams, etc.)
• Complete routine maintenance and ensure safety compliance on all installations
• Issue Certificates of Compliance (CoCs) in accordance with national standards
• Maintain accurate service documentation and job reports
• Work on rooftops and in the field, always adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with technical teams and assist in guiding junior staff when needed

• Valid 3-Phase Wireman’s License
• Recognised Electrical Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of solar PV installation and maintenance experience
• Familiarity with inverters (e.g., Huawei, Sunsynk, SolarEdge, Victron)
• Proficiency in fault diagnosis, component replacement, and electrical testing
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights

1. Install and maintain solar PV systems according to established standards and regulations.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
