Role Overview As a Technical Software Lead, you will play a key role in championing technical best practices in software engineering while ensuring the overall health, resilience, and operational performance of the product’s technology components. You will be a trusted technology advisor, working closely with product managers to shape and deliver on the product roadmap. In this role, you will own and advocate for the product’s architectural roadmap, driving operational excellence and alignment with other technical leads. About the Role
This position serves as a subject matter expert for a specific team of Software Engineers. In addition to writing code on complex systems and applications, this position provides direction on project plans, schedules, and methodologies. The position has direct reports.

- Providing design input across a product
- Acting as an acknowledged 'go to' person on coding and technical issues, for both internal and external contacts
- Interfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirements
- Completing complex bug fixes, and resolving technical issues

Requirements

About the Role
As a Software Engineering Lead, you will manage and guide a diverse team of engineers, working closely with management and other stakeholders to ensure the success of your team and its deliverables. This role requires strong technical skills, good communication, and great leadership abilities. Your responsibilities include technical and administrative decision-making, performance and code reviews, mentorship, and strategic direction.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.- Overseeing software development processes, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.- Designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions that align with business objectives.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and drive project execution.- Troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges while ensuring high system performance and reliability.- Conducting code reviews and enforcing quality assurance measures.- Managing team performance, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.- Staying up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Have experience in software engineering with leadership or mentorship experience.- Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.- Be proficient in dot net, C#, Angular, GIT including SQL and data manipulation.- Have hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.- Have solid understanding of data modelling, database design, and multiple storage subsystems.- Be able to troubleshoot complex software issues and implement effective solutions.- Have experience managing software development projects, including planning and execution.- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
