You will be responsible for selling training solutions to a diverse range of industries and identifying skills gaps within client organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their automation training needs and objectives.
• Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to identify skills gaps within client organizations.
• Develop customized training solutions tailored to address specific skill gaps and meet client requirements.
• Present and demonstrate the client’s training solutions to potential clients, effectively articulating the value proposition.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on automation training and skills development.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Technical Support, to ensure seamless delivery of training solutions.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance knowledge and expertise.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the client’s Training Solutions Division.

Qualifications:

• Degree (BTech/BEng/BScEng) in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Additional Commercial/Supply Chain Management qualification will be advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years technical industrial experience in Plant Maintenance, Engineering or Operations.
• Minimum 2 years Industrial Solutions Sales/Consulting experience.

Job Purpose

Responsible for transferring the correct product, processing, legislative, behavioural, and systems knowledge to staff, ensuring they are adequately prepared to function in various Discovery Commission positions. Accountable for creating, designing, and developing training content and e-learning courses using various software programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate training interventions and related projects within the Commission team.
2. Manage the yearly training plan to meet all deliverables within deadlines, updating regularly as needed.
3. Identify leadership and staff development needs and facilitate sessions aligned with business strategy.
4. Design, develop, and report on online courses using relevant software and systems.
5. Develop assessments, including written and online, such as monthly incentive and induction assessments, ensuring quality assurance prior to deployment.
6. Capture training statistics monthly to ensure compliance with skills development requirements and compile learning reports.
7. Maintain and update learning materials and content platforms like Pinpoint.
8. Manage the full induction training process for the Business Unit, from design to ensuring staff competence and meeting iQS objectives.
9. Deliver ad hoc training requests and assist with administrative functions related to training.
10. Compile and report on training administration before and after sessions, maintaining records.

Job / Role Requirements

Work Experience

Required: 12-24 months experience within Discovery.

Preferred: 3-4 years in a senior training consultant role.

• Deliver adhoc training requests and assist with other adhoc training admin functions.
• To ensure that all Training admin pre and post training sessions are compiled and reported on and saved for record keeping.

System Troubleshooting
Problem solve IntelliMine application errors by applying troubleshooting techniques to verify user system functionality.

Training Support
Enhance customer competencies by providing training and support to develop client skills that enable optimal product usage, generating profitable revenues for MMSA.
Assist sales staff in generating training quotes and proposals.

Customer Support
Provide high-quality professional training support for customers across all Modular products, developing procedures and standards for customer sites.

Technical Support
Provide operational guidance during deployment of new systems and products, establishing best practice training standards and procedures.

Training Delivery
Develop training modules, documentation, audiovisual, and other tools to enable professional training delivery and generate revenue.

Safety
