The aim of the Site Technician is primarily responsible for the oversight of a variety of environmental quality monitoring primarily, but not limited to, stack emissions testing and ambient air monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site work:
- Responsible to oversee and manage testing equipment
- Maintaining digital and paper documentation of all calibration and testing records.
- Responsibility to troubleshoot equipment issues on site
- Communicate effectively at all organization levels and suppliers to arrange spares and equipment repairs and services.
- Conduct inspections of site equipment and maintain inspection records.
- Must be prepared to be on standby and work overtime.
- Oversight of a variety of air emissions monitoring and source testing programs.
- Conduct and manage pre-compliance stack test site reviews
- Lead the planning, oversight, onsite execution and evaluation of air source testing
- Support the review of source test reports for completeness, adherence to USEPA/state procedures and accuracy.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and routinely reviewed and handed over to the report coordinator
- Assist in the review and analysis of source testing results with the Technical manager and client if needed.
- Assist in the developing, implementing and updating the testing program methods.
- Assist with oversight of changes in source testing methods and assessing the impact to the development of source test plans.
- Continually update their knowledge of air monitoring regulatory requirements, including equipment and sampling procedures
- Ensure customer files are maintained by providing relevant documents and records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients when on site
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are understood and met.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding report progress, issues, and solutions with regard to testing on site.
- Ensure all testing complies with local, national, and international environmental regulations (e.g., NEMA).
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the company's practices remain compliant.
- Oversee the quality control and assurance processes to ensure accurate and compliant data is delivered.
- South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated on the programme before.

Under general direction from the Manager of Information Technology (IT) Operations, the IT Help Desk Technician provides frontline technical support for a gaming casino, ensuring the reliability, security, and functionality of IT systems. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing user access, and maintaining compliance with Tribal Gaming Commission (TGC), state, and federal regulations. The technician delivers exceptional customer service by assisting employees with technical problems, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring operational continuity for gaming and business systems.

- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
