With 10-15 years of experience, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of ESIA projects, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring the effective management of environmental and social risks. - Provide environmental compliance auditing services and support clients with regulatory reporting requirements.
- A relevant post-graduate qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or related fields.
- 10-15 years of experience in conducting ESIA projects, with proven expertise in both South African regulations and international standards (including the International Finance Corporation (IFC) requirements).

5 to 7 years' work experience in an environmental consulting environment, specifically with Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), Basic Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, Environmental Management Plans, Compliance Auditing projects, and/or Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) consulting assignments.
EAPASA Registration.
Proven project experience in the mining sector is a non-negotiable requirement.
Strong working knowledge of South African environmental legislation, with in-depth knowledge of MPRDA requirements.
Experience in the industrial, renewable energy, and/or infrastructure sectors is beneficial.
Knowledge and application of International Standards such as IFC Performance Standards, Af DB Safeguards, and Equator Principles are advantageous.
Strong preference will be given to candidates proficient in French (reading, writing, and conversing) and/or those with published scientific papers in relevant subject matter.
Personal Attributes: A highly independent and seasoned EAP capable of leading large-scale mining-related projects, both locally and internationally.
