The ideal candidate will take ownership of all digital production systems within a high-performance manufacturing environment. This senior technical specialist will lead system stability, integration, and digital advancement projects, focusing on MES platforms, automation systems, and SAP-to-plant integrations. The position combines engineering, IT, and project leadership, contributing directly to the company’s digital transformation and innovation roadmap.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the production application and server landscape, including SQL/Oracle databases, MES, and automation systems
Ensure long-term system performance, reliability, and cybersecurity
Implement and administer MES platforms (e.g., Wonderware/AVEVA), SCADA systems, and historian databases
Lead SAP-to-plant software integration projects, coordinating between departments and vendors
Drive the digitization of manual processes and deploy custom digital tools using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Promote data-driven decision-making through application-level analytics and reporting
Lead and manage automation and application-related projects with full compliance to change control and MOC standards

Requirements:

Looking for someone with new install experience. - Communicate and cooperate with machine operators; operate equipment to detect equipment problems, analyze malfunctions, and verify system problems.
- Determine correct types of equipment, tools, or materials needed to complete tasks.
- Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems.
- Work effectively as a team-member and coordinate activities with others as needed.
- The level one multi craft will be expected to be able to complete above responsibilities with moderate supervision and assistance.
- Follow health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean workplace following 5S standards.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties.
- Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical and Instrumentation, Electro-Mechanical, Automated Manufacturing Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable, adhere to, and enforce stated safety policies and procedures.
- Has knowledge, training, 1-3 years’ experience, and must be able to demonstrate a working understanding of the following:
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and document simple and complex machine malfunctions to mechanical and electrical components, devices, and/or systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents including diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, schematics, or ladder logic diagrams.
- Ability to perform necessary welding, fabrication, and machine shop tasks incidental to maintenance and repair needs.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
