Main responsibilities:

• Change moulds and set up of all moulding machines and ancillary equipment
• Perform QA tests and inspections on every start of a production run to ensure good quality
• Ensure all process documentation relating to manufacturing is available, correct and aligned to set-up and any deviations are reported to the Process Technician.
• Ensure all production documentation relating to manufacturing is available and correctly completed for each shift
• Plan and prepare tooling for all processes/product changes within the specified set-up times
• Perform relevant routine First Line Maintenance according to defined checklists and safety standards
• Actively engage in continuous improvement practices (5 S)
• Operate any machine/combination of machines for problem-solving.

• Complete all necessary process documentation related to production
• Report all occurrences on shift regarding processes to the Maintenance Manager

• Conduct pre-operating inspections to determine the operational fitness and safety of the machine and the environment
• Share and discuss information and resolve issues which impact on safety, quality and output standards
• Apply quality procedures and standards to all areas of operating influence
• Ensure shift m/c manning is in line with the production schedule and instruction of the Production Manager and documentation relating to manufacturing is available and correctly completed for each shift
• Participate in all relevant safety, health and environmental issues in the workplace
• Take responsibility for relevant operating tools and equipment, and report on any problems experienced with these during the production process
• Develop and use keyboard skills to enter and correctly capture data
• Select and use measuring equipment
• Assume responsibility for his area of work

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
