Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish SEO-optimized content that supports organic growth and reflects the tone and voice of the brand

Sadja WebSolutions is hiring an SEO Content Writing Intern based in South Africa who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment. This role is perfect for someone with strong copywriting and content writing skills who is eager to learn about SEO and build a career in digital content writing.

Our 6-month internship program offers real-world training with actual clients and budgets, allowing you to make a meaningful impact. Depending on your performance, there may be an opportunity for a full-time position during or after the internship.

Core Responsibilities

Research industry-related topics to develop SEO-driven blog content and landing pages.Edit existing content for SEO optimization.Write short-form content for featured snippets, meta titles, and meta descriptions.Prepare content briefs, outlines, landing pages, and blog articles.Proofread and edit content before publishing.Conduct keyword research and apply SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.Write social media posts.Ensure consistency in style and tone for each client.

Requirements

Experience with research using multiple sources.Excellent writing and editing skills.Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Knowledge of technical topics is a plus.Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and adhere to deadlines.Well-organized and process-driven.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role.Portfolio of writing samples.BA in English, Journalism, or related field.Basic understanding of SEO content writing.

They are looking for a fully remote brand performance specialist to join their fast-growing team and provide great training.

Their team is behind a number of Amazon’s success stories, working closely with brands to develop and deliver their digital marketplace strategy. They consult, advise, strategise, and deliver high growth results in some of the most competitive consumer markets. They are growing rapidly and are looking for the right people to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

They are looking for someone to join our Brand Performance Team (Preferably an Economics, Psychology or Mathematics graduate). You’ll have exposure to a full breadth of our client base, with new challenges every day. With real responsibility – your opinions and decisions will count! Your role will include:

• Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
• Creating and optimising listings
• Identifying new opportunities
• Driving traffic through Digital Marketing Campaigns
• Crunching data and looking for insights
• Managing digital marketplace accounts across the UK, Europe, the US and further afield
• Liaising and resolving issues with Amazon
• Customer care (something really important to us!);
• Researching keywords and competitors
• Presenting to and training clients' teams
• Other tasks that arise in the day-to-day running of a fast-growing business!

ABOUT YOU:

A 2:1 or above in a Mathematics/Economics/Psychology related degree. Experience isn’t essential, but the right attitude is absolutely essential. You will receive industry-leading training from two recognised Amazon entrepreneurs and our experienced management team, so you’ll have a chance to learn everything you need to know. What will be most important is your attitude and entrepreneurial skills.

You should:

• Have a strong analytical mind and be comfortable with numbers. Current team members include economics, mathematics, consumer psychology, and law graduates.
• Have an instinct for what makes people want to buy products online;
• Enjoy the competitive nature of selling online – our success will be objectively measured in sales rankings on Amazon and sales volumes. You should enjoy trying to do better than before;
• Be skilled at Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word – you need to know your pivot tables and =vlookups, or be sharp enough to learn them on your own;
• Use initiative and problem-solve – if issues come up, are you going to be able to use your own initiative to find a solution or will you need someone to find a solution for you? We want problem-solvers;
• Be a brand champion – you understand the value of a strong brand and will quickly get to grips with our brand world and ensure everything you do sits within it;
• Have keen interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds;
• Demonstrate an ability to think outside the box, innovate, and think creatively.

SALARY: Depending on experience

LOCATION: Fully remote team! You can work from a beach, café or home! Plus, every now and then we meet up for some fun and training.
