Our client is a specialized digital marketing agency dedicated to helping cannabis and CBD brands grow organically through expert SEO strategies. They work closely with cannabis-related product businesses to improve visibility, traffic, and lead generation online. The agency is known for delivering proven SEO results. They are now seeking a motivated Sales Rep to help scale their business development efforts and drive revenue growth.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Development Representative who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and understands the nuances of digital marketing services, particularly Local SEO. This role will be responsible for managing the entire sales process—from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and collaborating closely with internal marketing and service teams.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in selling digital marketing services, is highly persuasive, organized, and results-driven.
Experience working with U.S.-based clients and in the SEO industry is required.
Fluency in English is a must.
Experience In a Digital Marketing Agency Is Required.
Home Service Experience is a plus.
What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Manage and optimize the sales pipeline using a CRM tool.
  • Prospect and qualify leads through cold outreach, inbound inquiries, and networking.
  • Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and sales pitches tailored to client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and service teams to ensure alignment on offerings and client messaging.
  • Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to leadership.
  • Continuously improve the sales process based on feedback and performance analytics.
Who are we looking for?
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the digital marketing or SEO industry.
  • Proven ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with Local SEO, digital marketing strategies, and industry tools is a strong plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-up and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and performance-oriented with a growth mindset.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce).
  • Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients is preferred.
  • Experience in cold calling and outbound prospecting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Customer Communication: communicate with customers clearly, empathically and professionally in a friendly manner by guiding potential new customers through the company' onboarding process addressing any questions or concerns they may have with regards to our trading platform by effectively listening and understanding their needs providing appropriate solutions in order to obtain a sign up
  • Customer Onboarding: authenticate the customer by accurately obtaining their personal information to establish if they are eligible to trade on our platform as per the FSCA guidelines and procedures, setting up accounts by explaining the steps and necessary guidelines to trade on our platform effectively, mitigating all possible risk
  • Customer Success: to ensure that customers sign up on the first call by securing a FTD (first time deposit) and ensuring that the successful integration of new customers is done by helping customers achieve their desired outcomes from out platform focusing on customer success which will foster long-term trading satisfaction and loyalty
  • Product Knowledge: knowledge of the company' trading platform which will enable you to demonstrate the value and features of offerings to customers during the onboarding process
  • Collaboration: collaborate with internal teams to address issues or factors that may impact customers decisions to ensure a cohesive approach to customer retention, maximising on opportunities and the company' revenue growth
  • Sales Performance: meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly first-time deposits (FTD)
  • Dialler Activity: Achieve and maintain daily required total calls and talk time
  • Customer Feedback: gather accurate feedback from customers to provide a valuable onboarding process by providing a clear and concise report to the success management team to ensure that they can give the best trading opportunities, customer and the company experience to our customers
  • Trading Market Knowledge: stay up to date with trading trends, platforms, business news and market dynamics and utilize this knowledge to develop onboarding strategies for overall customer satisfaction
  • Problem Solving: assist customers with any onboarding issues, escalating problems to your team leader where necessary and collaborating with team members to resolve customer concerns promptly
  • Training and Development: attend inhouse training and development opportunities to help understand our services to fully utilize our platform ensuring that customers utilize the offers and get the most value out of it
  • Risk Management: follow the company' process of identifying, evaluating, risk identification, measurement, assessment, governance, best practice, reporting and mitigating business and customer risks
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain and keep accurate records and reports of customer interactions, onboarding documentation, tracking metrics and need analysis by preparing and submitting reports

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Matric or equivalent
  • 2 years + proven experience in a high performing sale, finance, or call centre environment
  • 1-year online trading experience with be advantageous
  • RE5 and Class of Business (Investments & Short/ Long Term Deposits) will be advantageous (would need to be obtained within first 3 months of employment)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
  • Persuasive and adept at negotiating techniques
  • Effective listening skills
  • Results orientated, driven and able to consistently meet and exceed targets

We’re hiring a virtual Sales Development Representative, based in South Africa through our agency partner, to create qualified pipeline for our consulting, Fractional CMO and training and event products.

You’ll combine research, outreach and sharp discovery to open conversations with senior decision-makers (founders, CEOs, CMOs, principals) across SMEs, with an initial emphasis on property/estate agency and allied sectors, then expanding to other verticals.

This role is ideal for a curious, commercially minded prospector who loves testing messages, learning from data, and booking meetings that convert.

What you’ll do
Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation across target verticals: research, list-build,
multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone, events), and rapid follow-up on
inbound interest.

Run crisp discovery to qualify pains around marketing leadership, strategy, and
performance; map stakeholders; and secure high-quality meetings for our principals.

Tailor outreach using our assets (case themes, workshops, research
initiatives) to earn attention and credibility with prospects.

Maintain a clean CRM, update playbooks, and share insights on messaging, ICPs,
and objections.

Partner with marketing on campaigns (e.g., webinar/workshop invites) and event
follow-ups.

Hit and exceed weekly/monthly activity and opportunity targets.

What success looks like
Qualified meetings set with ideal-fit accounts.

Conversion from meeting → qualified opportunity → proposal.

Outreach quality metrics (reply rate, positive response rate).

Data hygiene and cadence consistency.

What you’ll bring
1–3+ years in an SDR/BDR or new-business role (agency, B2B services, or SaaS).

Requires expertise in HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Good knowledge of Hunter.io, Apollo.io or Snov.io a distinct advantage

Confident, concise communication and business writing; strong phone presence.

Proven list-building and personalization skills; comfortable with CRM, sequencing
and sales tools.

Curiosity about marketing strategy and leadership (e.g., Fractional CMO, research-
driven planning, CPD-style training).

Outcome focus: you test, learn, and iterate based on data.

Nice to have
Experience selling to founders/MDs in SMEs.

Familiarity with property/estate agency or adjacent industries (suppliers, proptech,
professional services).

Event-driven outreach experience (webinars, workshops, conferences).
