Reporting to the First Line Manager/Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales of pharmaceuticals in the field of Established Brands/Woman’s Health in the Southern Africa Private market. You will be responsible for maintaining and increasing sales for the products in the selected portfolio. You will engage strategically with target customers to create sustainable value to patients and healthcare through accessible and innovative solutions to increase/maintain scripting and drive script fulfillment at pharmacy. Parts of customer visits in this role can be done remotely. This role can be for multiple locations in (territory) depending on business need.
Responsibilities
Primary Activities and Responsibilities includes the below examples but are not limited to the below list only:
- Build or maintain positive working relationships with targeted customers and their supporting staff in order ensure customer satisfaction, trust & loyalty to selected Organon products.
- Responsible and accountable for achieving or exceeding sales results regarding the assigned portfolio of products.
- Create and maintain strong partnerships and trust for short term and long-term value, drive customer satisfaction and loyalty to Organon through a deep understanding of each customer’s values and needs.
- Manage interactions with targeted customers that are meaningful, up-to-date, scientifically valuable, and relevant to each individual customer (customized/ tailored) based upon an understanding of their needs.
- Understand customer needs related to patient management.
- Attendance of company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.
- Effective collaboration with cluster colleagues and sales team members to plan how to approach contacts and creating effective business plans for making sales in a particular area.
- Planning work schedules and keeping record of customer interactions on the CRM platform.
- Must be prepared to stay away from home for country trips and conferences.
- Maintain the stature of an Organon professional through one’s behavior in accordance with established company practices, policies, and standards.
- Responsible for reporting adverse experiences or events (AEs), adverse device events (ADEs), product quality complaints (PQCs) and other reportable information, customer feedback (CF), alleged counterfeiting, diversion and tampering (CDT) that they become aware of to the Designated Point of Contact (DPOC).
- Assisting with organizing continued medical education (CME) for doctors and other medical staff as required.
- Managing budgets and timely expense submissions in line with expense policy
- Keeping up with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with healthcare professionals during presentations.
- Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products and provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager/ and BCM on marketing trends.
- Regularly update and monitoring of KPIs.
- Any other task with similar nature or project directed by your manager.
- Detailing of selected ORGANON products to HCP’s e.g. general practitioner's, selected specialists, pharmacists and nursing sisters included in targeted territories.
- Direct Selling using the RepWise Platform.
- Attending trainings and cycle meetings virtually or in person.
- Effective territory management
- Competent & Compliant CLM system usage
- Data analysis and use of this in concluding actionable measurable interventions to increase sales and counter opposition strategies.
- Knowledge, understanding the science of a product and understanding clinical trials.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
- Strong communication skills, high motivation and enjoyment of networking & strong sociability with a professional appearance.

You will engage strategically with target customers to create sustainable value to patients and healthcare through accessible and innovative solutions to increase/maintain scripting and drive script fulfillment at pharmacy. Parts of customer visits in this role can be done remotely. This role can be for multiple locations in (territory) depending on business need.
Responsibilities
Primary Activities and Responsibilities includes the below examples but are not limited to the below list only:
- Build or maintain positive working relationships with targeted customers and their supporting staff in order ensure customer satisfaction, trust & loyalty to selected Organon products.
- Responsible and accountable for achieving or exceeding sales results regarding the assigned portfolio of products.
- Create and maintain strong partnerships and trust for short term and long-term value, drive customer satisfaction and loyalty to Organon through a deep understanding of each customer’s values and needs.
- Manage interactions with targeted customers that are meaningful, up-to-date, scientifically valuable, and relevant to each individual customer (customized/ tailored) based upon an understanding of their needs.
- Understand customer needs related to patient management.
- Attendance of company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.
- Effective collaboration with cluster colleagues and sales team members to plan how to approach contacts and creating effective business plans for making sales in a particular area.
- Planning work schedules and keeping record of customer interactions on the CRM platform.
- Must be prepared to stay away from home for country trips and conferences.
- Maintain the stature of an Organon professional through one’s behavior in accordance with established company practices, policies, and standards.
- Responsible for reporting adverse experiences or events (AEs), adverse device events (ADEs), product quality complaints (PQCs) and other reportable information, customer feedback (CF), alleged counterfeiting, diversion and tampering (CDT) that they become aware of to the Designated Point of Contact (DPOC).
- Assisting with organizing continued medical education (CME) for doctors and other medical staff as required.
- Managing budgets and timely expense submissions in line with expense policy
- Keeping up with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with healthcare professionals during presentations.
- Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products and provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager/ and BCM on marketing trends.
- Regularly update and monitoring of KPIs.
- Any other task with similar nature or project directed by your manager.
- Detailing of selected ORGANON products to HCP’s e.g. general practitioner's, selected specialists, pharmacists and nursing sisters included in targeted territories.
- Direct Selling using the RepWise Platform.
- Attending trainings and cycle meetings virtually or in person.
- Effective territory management
- Competent & Compliant CLM system usage
- Data analysis and use of this in concluding actionable measurable interventions to increase sales and counter opposition strategies.

- Experience in Established Brands/Woman’s Health in the Southern Africa Private market preferred.
- Experience in communicating complex medical and pharmacological information on products and therapeutic concepts.
- Bachelor’s or higher education in related field
- Valid Driver’s License
- Successful work experience in the pharmaceutical field service as Sales Representative with strong sales record, average of 6 years.
- Team player and ability to achieve objectives and common goals.
