Title and Summary
Director, Account Management Overview- Responsible for setting sales strategies related to customer accounts aligned with geography strategy and achieving sales goals that drive market share, volume, and revenue growth.
- Leads and manages existing customer relationships, identifying opportunities and customer needs.
- Partners with customers to deliver customized solutions and comprehensive consulting support.
- Responsible for pipeline management at the account level.
- Delivers against sales and net revenue targets.
- Designs strategies, messaging, and proposals for customers.
- Analyzes the customer’s business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting, and competitive analysis.
- Develops and implements sales plans including business development, marketing, and product management.
- Partners with the customer to establish, execute, and report progress against annual business plans.
- Leads projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Negotiates and executes on the customer agreement process.
- Identifies and recommends products to enhance customers’ profitability.
- In-depth experience executing and managing sales strategies for complex or large accounts.
- Demonstrated expertise and success leveraging Mastercard's core products, rules, and services in customer accounts.
- Has taken a lead role in customer negotiations.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the following core areas of our business:
Commercial
- Collaborate with the Divisional head and Group Finance team to develop strategic financial plans
- Enhance finance departments to provide insights into performance
- Assist accounts receivable in managing working capital to maintain DSO targets
- Provide commercial/financial insights into bid preparations
- Support project profitability and margins, ensuring appropriate direct labor multipliers
- Improve systems to monitor order-book and provide workload insights
- Assist with client contract negotiations and manage commercial aspects
- Support BU in resource utilization across regions/disciplines
Essential Job Functions
- Analyze financial data to interpret past performance and project future financial probability
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and related reports; analyze trends and expenditures
- Oversee the preparation of working papers and budgets; review expenditure at project level
- Create financial reports for forecasting and trend analysis
- Stay updated on applicable laws and regulations for compliance
- Coordinate with internal and external offices to ensure procedures are followed
- Maintain communication channels between BU and Business Partners
- Monthly review of project multipliers, cost anomalies, and WIP schedules
- Prepare monthly BU reports according to standards and controls
